That's a relief, I guess. I improperly gauged the affinity for him from the fan base because he didn't seem to get glowing reviews due to how he botched chances. But he wasn't ideally used, and that's not the whole game. That's introspective. I think many succumb to that same allure like with Zelalem, Green, and maybe now Wright.

I like your side but I’m not gonna lie. When voting comes around I likely wouldn’t give you points for Siebatcheu. As far as I’m concerned he doesn’t want to play for us. If that changes and he still hasn’t gotten a cap that’s different. But as of now, he doesn’t want to be apart of our program.
Don’t be a hater lol... Honestly though, he’s never said he didn’t want to play for us and he’s not in France camp. In fact, his response was that he was open to the USMNT; just when he was invited to camp last, he had just transferred. I can’t blame him for that and the fact that he wouldn’t want to play for a lame duck coach. Do we say Pulisic doesn’t want to play for us for the same reason? By all means, Jordy Siebatcheu should be considered in the bag for the US camp if Gregg rates him at all.
Got my first pick off before going to a business function last night and my window was basically overnight sleeping hours. Perhaps an overnight pause should be considered going forward although I don't care that much this late in the draft.
With you on the overnight pause it’s not exactly fair. And it wouldn’t stop people from picking if their up. Just stops the clock.
Lol def not a hater and I considered taking a gamble on him as well. I don’t blame him either for turning down the invite. He had just made a move and it was more important for him to settle with his new club. I’d have done the same. He’s not in France camp because he isn’t good enough to beat out the others. But make no mistake that’s where he wants to be. He will very likely rep the US because he can’t make frances squad and I’m cool with that as long as he comes in and plays hard and wears the jersey with pride. However, until he’s on record stating come get me US, I want to rep the US and not France he won’t get full points in a lineup from me. Pulisic is a different situation tho. He’s already cap tied. He’s played several games for us whereas Jordan hasn’t.
There is an unofficial overnight pause, it's just inconsistently applied because it's up to the next picker as to whether or not they can or want to take advantage. I've always been for a couple hrs extra or resuming the competition at 11 AM EST (i.e.), with early morning selections being elective.
I do think it's possible Siebatcheu will be part of the USMNT in a few years or beyond. It's likely going to be either the US or Cameroon. But I viewed the draft selection process as "if offered a USMNT callup now, for 2019, would he accept" and he would clearly reject it especially still being in contention for France U21s for the European Championship, so he and Alvarez were not on my personal board, despite being technically eligible. That's not preventing someone else from taking him or making an argument in favor of that, just my view. I drafted multiple inferior American forwards who'd accept an MNT callup with him still undrafted. I hope to consider him a few years from now.
That’s fair... However, my prediction is he waits it out until the summer; finishes the season, would make himself ready for the Gold Cup, however Berhalter passes for other options. In the fall, however he’s brought in if he’s still performing at a high level. I think that is extremely realistic.
For our team though, he makes an outstanding luxury option... even if we didn’t use him somehow; we could keep the same 433 formation and start Rowe at LW or Wooten at FW; or stick to our original 4132 formation.
I could see it playing out like that but it doesn’t do you any favors in this draft in the here and now.
I like the first option. If you use Rowe as a winger I’d put him on the right if Chandler is playing. Chandler is going to get forward and Rowe will leave the space for him to operate there. He’ll move central or drop off a little naturally to provide the balance. Could be the same for Morrow but I’d naturally want that to come through Chandler. He’s better getting forward and is more known for not getting back. You’ll want to provide cover for that.

Every time I see Lalas I remember playing the Alexi Lalas International Soccer video game... ever wonder what happened to that series?
@Lookingforleftbacks you’ll be up at about 2am. I’ll be asleep by then by wanted to give you a heads up.
I just wanted to chime in and say an overnight pause would be great, even if it was for a couple hours. Working nights combined with being on the left coast means I don’t really get to sleep until 4 or 5 est. With everyone on separate schedules and never knowing if 5 people are going to pick in succession, I kind of feel like picks are happening 24/7. It would be nice to know there are a couple hours per day where the clock was stopped.
I get it... but I’d say that’s not up to me @TheFalseNine would need to bless that one. That said, you can send your pick to someone and they’ll pick. Also, at this point in the draft, we’re almost done. Hopefully you won’t have another late night pick.

The window for @Matthew Hartman has lapsed, so @Lookingforleftbacks , if you can, make your pick soon so I can slip in before I wrap up for the night. The draft has become increasingly slow moving.
