Game won’t be broadcasted. AFC forever a joke and I hope the NT pours it on for all the attendants to see.
@jessypjs This is awesome news. Hopefully, they bring their full strength squad to face us. There's some players that I want to see how they do against Brazil such as KMJ and HHC.
Won't be broadcasted at all or won't be broadcasted live in SK? From what I read, our TV stations weren't granted permits by the NorKs but I didn't read anything about NorK domestic stations not airing this game. I'm hoping that their KCT station airs it live or on a delayed coverage (if they do air it, I assume it'll be through this method to cut out in case of a lop-sided game) so that we can at least catch bits of it or at a later time.
The best thing to come out of the match, regardless of the score, is that everyone escapes the artificial turf without an injury...and the country without a trumped up charge.
@12th Player lol i see what you did there. Edit: Didn’t know “trumped up” was an actual terminology but still loved the choice of wording
the revolution will not be televised It’s official now. The second round Asian qualifying match for the 2022 World Cup in Pyongyang between North Korea and South Korea will NOT be broadcasted live, according to a joint-statement released by KBS, MBC and SBS, South Korea’s three major terrestrial TV networks.— Steve Han • 한만성 (@realstevescores) October 14, 2019

Why was this game played behind closed doors? Back in 2013 I went on a tour to N.K. from Beijing... the tour group I went with Koryo Tours were advertising this match as a tour... to go to Pyongyang and attend the game as if it was going to be some sort of a spectacle... I wonder if anyone actually signed up for it... really glad I didn't
I think this wouldn't have happened had Kim known that his team would tie with South Korea instead of losing. That and maybe because the South Korean national anthem was played there. North Korea didn't allow the South Korean fans to go there either. According to these interviews, the atmosphere in North Korea was hostile. According to the general manager of the South Korean team, he asked why the North Korean fans didn't come. The reply was that they didn't want to come, which was said in an unclear (sort of indirect) way. I still believe that Kim would've had the North Korean fans go there if he was more confident over the game.
if i understand correctly, the NK players were playing with tuhon and aggressiveness while SK tried to play technically. "거칠" was used dozens of times to indicate the NK players made a lot of physical challenges and SHM seems to mention he heard some gnarly 욕 that he doesn't want to remember
Wow, I wonder how many reds NK would've gotten if the refs weren't fearing for their lives. It seriously looked like prison ball out there. I'm really curious to see what it will be like when they come down here to play us for the second game
Did they add audio after recording the match? Wtf is up with the unnecessary shouts throughout the entire match? I dont fking understand why KFA did not make an appeal to AFC/FIFA to play in another country. This is just another example of why we are not "한민족" anymore. Hosting WC with NK together my ass. Unification without any bloodshed my ass. Even if we get unified, there's no way it will work out well.
