Squad predictions for World Cup 2022 anyone? (which is turning out to be a total farce unfortunately) It's actually quite difficult to fit everyone in if trying to include young talents. Definitely going to be many snubs. And as has been for a while LB, CB, DM look like our biggest holes
It's pretty hard to predict at this moment.. Defenders r easier to guess tho as we dont rly have options.. I guess it all depends on how these youngsters do. If they excel, they will get spots.
Will be disappointed if bento sticks with the 4231. The 2 dm positions are just useless rn especially with the new players called up

i am rehashing / beating a dead horse to some extent, but i do not for the life of me understand what HUJ did to deserve a semi permanent spot in our starting XI. just because he cleaned up in a regional u23 tournament??? is it really that low a bar.
Pretty harsh. He did a lot of the background work in our 2010 WC success iirc. Seems like a million years ago but that's also the last time our KNT really had a extended stable run.

Bento says LKI and BSH wont start tmr. "They might get subbed in but it all depends on the situation and the tactics".
Skeletor was critical to the success of 2010. One of the best MF's KNT ever had on the world stage. To your point, it's no coincidence that 2010 was stable with Skeletor and Dog Eater in the center. It also allowed Ki to neglect his defensive duties, for which he never figured out what to do.
If CDR gets a ceremony, no reason why Skeletor shouldn't. Similar number of caps, for one thing. You could also easily argue Skeletor contributed more to our WC legacy (however meager it is).
