Do you guys think that maybe a 4-3-3 formation would be better for the knockout stages? KSY would have fewer responsibilities defensively and will be free to be more of a creator.

    ----------SHM-------HEJ------------LCY/HHC/LJS-------
    ----------------KSY-------------KJC/LJS/HIB----------
    ----------------------JWY/JSJ----------------------

ki sungyong has been playing a deeper role under bento. jung wooyoung plays in front of him most of the times. bento is not going to suddenly shift the dynamic

Not bad at all considering it's a minor issue, in fact it's a HUGE relief as it states. No way Ki was going to return in time for the remaining two group stage matches vs Kyrgyzstan and China, he needs the full week to rest up and heal.

this is actually ideal imo... we don't need KSY against opponents like Kyrgyzstan and China esp when HIB is in form and should be in the XI... better to save KSY for later

Considering how well the Hwang In-beom+Ju Se-jong midfield partnership went during Jung Woo-young's absence, we should continue with this pairing, it will be a good alternative when Ki isn't around.

Not only was their performance a joke, but their media is also a laughing stock as well.

中언론의 분개, "우레이, 한국 언론 조용하게 만들 것"

Chinese media "Wu Lei will silence the Korean media".

Again, the irony behind pointing the finger at us for our performance when their performance was even more shit. I expect the Philippines to dump the Chinese by knocking in a goal or two, and with the way they've been bunkering well against us, I don't see how the Chinese will manage to even score with their shit squad.

The best chinese can muster is to hire a Korean manager and players to imitate our team as always with their shite retirement league.

I agree. They are hyping wu lei too much but I didn't even feel his presence in their last match. What a joke.

chinese medias beef with korean soccer is a strange one. they have a whole diatribe built around koreans not giving them enough due credit but just what do they believe chinese football have accomplished? where does the audacity to demand more respect stem from? guangzhou drops 9 figures on their club and win a few afc champions league titles suddenly china is the shit? imagine korean press targeting germans for remaining dismissive/ignorant of korean soccer. so much anger and hatred over nothing

They think they're better because they have grease money to throw at top managers and players, but aside from that, they haven't accomplished anything in regards to their footballing structure. They're even trying to rub it in our faces given Hiddink becoming their Olympic NT manager lel.

Unpopular opinion, I think midfield would look better with HIB instead of Ki.

I agree, but only when facing teams that bunker down against us. In games against the big teams that don’t park the bus, KSY would be better IMO.

Popular opinion, Ju Se-jong is better than sideway pass master, Jung Woo-young.
