Australia currently down 1-0 and struggling against Jordan. 45% should have been evident when their A team struggled to score against our B team last month. 1081877908589752320 is not a valid tweet id Can we get Son Heung-min on loan? #AUSvJOR #AsianCup2019— The Football Sack (@TheFootballSack) January 6, 2019
FT: Australia 0-1 Jordan So if Australia finishes second in their group, we have to meet them on our side of the bracket. Shame, really wanted Australia, Japan, and Iran all on one side of the bracket. :/
"They (Australia) don’t need Tom Rogic to pump Jordan, absolutely not." - Chris Sutton (BT Sports pundit) https://www.goal.com/en-au/news/soc...ewhere-sutton-slams/npgrxofcsmnd12xasf6vdei9m Chris Sutton when Australia can't even beat Jordan with Rogic playing:
Currently watching the Thailand-India match. Thailand dominating possession 61%, but can't find the net. India somehow gets a PK and is currently leading 1-0 right now
australia doesnt have a goal scorer and they dont have anyone who can create from the middle. it appears both japan and iran have them. we will see if korea does. a lot depends on which hwang euijo shows up for the tournament
Thailand just conceded their 3rd goal against India. They have declined a lot these past few years. From being regional champions to struggling against India.
Though the indian finishing has been pretty good from what I've seen. The 3rd and 4th were clinical. They seem a lot better than the team in 2011.
Yeah, they are definitely better than the 2011 team esp. their defending. They have defended pretty well as a unit against Thailand today. I can see why China struggled to score against them in their Oct. friendly match.
Now, the brackets are more balanced. If you are going to be next King of Asia, it is better to be with style, which is crushing most of your rivals on the way to the top and not just with damn luck.
Ahh there it is. The traditional middle eastern grassrolling. Wouldnt be a proper Asian tournament w/o it.
