According to Mirror, Northern Ireland a potential opponent for March. http://v.sports.media.daum.net/v/20180106180246418 http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/michael-oneill-set-snub-scotland-11805598
I have to admit I don't follow Northern Ireland that much, but I would guess they are a strong team (showed respectable performance in Euro 2016 and almost booked their ticket to Russia). It's a great preparation for us.
They are a team that's become strong over the years, they did decent at the Euro's 2 years ago and nearly clinched a spot at Russia last year. A very defensive-oriented/minded team to the reason they are being chosen as our sparring partner because of the similarities in play style to Sweden. It will be our first time facing them, plus we might get to see former Gwangju player Niall McGinn in action.
Director Kim Pan-gon to add a Strategy Analyst(Not Video Analyst) to the senior team coaching staff, likely to be foreign as well. Also, judging from the statements he made, the mindset definitely seems better than his useless senile cousin 호로곤, but again we'll have to wait and see.
http://v.sports.media.daum.net/v/20180108154550302 Seems like we might be playing Jamaica on 1/31/2018 in Turkey. not confirmed yet but reports are coming out from Jamaican press.
Nothing wrong with weak friendlies this month if STY is willing to try out new players. But I doubt he will.

This. Since the winter training camp isn't on a FIFA date, we'll be fielding a B/C team(The same goes for those three teams), so this will be strictly a test for our domestic players. Plus, most of the stronger European oppositions are either booked or cautiously looking to rest their team/players as participating in these training camps could result in injuries.
If roughly 70% of the WC squad is already confirmed(So he says), he better be testing out more new faces instead of the Hong Myung-bo 인맥축구 bullshit.
Man, Son Jun-ho better get called up this time around, and hopefully Han Chan-hee does too as well. Non of this Hwang Eui-jo, Lee Jeong-hyeop bullshit.
