Good News: Rodrygo's MRI scan went well. He didn't suffer any serious ligament damage. He won't play today, but he will play against Flamengo mid-week.
I really believe Flo has done a great job snapping him up. He has got the flair. Hopefully in 2-3 years time he will be leading the line.
He is the leader of this Santos team at the age of 17. They look up to him. Takes all the free kicks too.. Good signs.
O garoto joga muito! Só 17 anos e o Rodrygo fez tudo isso aí contra o líder Flamengo na Vila Belmiro! pic.twitter.com/DCgsmqZlAm— TNT Sports BR (@TNTSportsBR) July 26, 2018 Highlights of his game
He has a big personality. He isn't afraid to speak his mind. Still, that Santos team could have anybody "lead" it because it's directionless at the moment. The kid is the catalyst for their attempt to get out of last place.
Watched this earlier. Very very good. I hope we can look back in ten years when Rodrygo, Vinicius and co lead us to European glory and see our current transfer business as genius as opposed to the travesty it's looking right now.
If I'm Florentino, I'm pissing my pants every time this kid takes the pitch. Hopefully he finishes the season with no injuries cause there is just reckless football out there.
They target Rodrygo specifically. Same was the case with Vinicius. It's a miracle that he escaped Brazil without a serious injury.

Yeah, I know. That possibility is everywhere though. What we need him to do is develop more of his creativity on the ball like Neymar and not just rely on running head down like Robben.
I found his celebration after the goal hilarious, running up to the sideline without acknowledging Rodrygo who did all the work for your tap in.
Yep, didn't want to point that out but dude is super pained about Rodrygo. Imagine, two years ago he was the sensation and he went to Inter... then back to Santos. Rodrygo is far greater a sensation and he isn't going to Inter... he's going to Madrid. The kid knows he's good, has a cockiness about it and is on a serious ascension. Gabriel probably envisions breaking Rodrygo's leg more than their opponents lol.
