Probably I am not the first saying it, but I find those trunks without head and arms frankly :eek:

In fact Martens herself basically doesn't know how to handle this thing (sometimes trying to hold like it was a baby or such), as seen in this other video also:

I think that trophy is cool! It looks like liquid metal :D
    And it's even gender-specific! :giggle:

The truncated arms and legs ensures that it fits in your trophy shelf, without having to take off the shelf above it :alien:

Yes, but that gender-specification itself implies that sometimes, to put it mildly, the recipient doesn't know where to put her hands on the trophy or is embarassed to do it... :coffee:

May be it's a two-stage prize, afterwards the winners will receive at home the customized head and arms, and a tube of glue to gel the pieces together...:barefoot:

This qualifier group for WWC looks quite tough...

I wonder if Euro Champions are going to keep their state of form.

I hope that there will be some video streams of the qualification round.

  10. They did beat Belgium 2-1 in a practice friendly last week. The friendly against Denmark was canceled because of an internal Denmark conflict.

Meanwhile Van de Sanden wreaks havoc on the Right-Side for OL (see 2nd half in particular):

Lieke Martens (#TheBest) is already big - she will be an endorsement mega star - I hope she stays healthy and gets very rich.

I have the Netherlands as one of the Top candidates to choke in the 2019 Women's World Cup. It wouldn't surprise me to see them lose in the Round of 16 game.

Teams most likely to choke in 2019:

1.) France (on their home field) (they're also one of my favorites to win the WWC)
    2.) Netherlands
    3.) Germany
    4.) USA
    5.) Japan

I think we'll finally see Australia make a deep run.
They're a top medal candidate, at least a Bronze, as of now.

This could be Canada's coming out party in the World Cup.
England is becoming more consistent. Coaching will determine their destiny.

Not sure where to put Brazil. Probably a loss in the Round of 16 right now.
Marta is not getting younger. She needs more help.
It would be crazy to see Mexico (or Costa Rica) out-perform Brazil in 2019.

    Upset special right now:
New Zealand over Netherlands in the Round of 16, after the Dutch win their group.

Hannah Wilkinson scores 2 goals to Miedema's one spectacular goal.

  17. :cautious: Okay....You are so sure about that, it must be the result of a thorough research based on facts that illustrate the coming doomsday for us. Plese elaborate on your findings.

I guess this summarizes WWC_Movement for us in the best possible way: he has a team, at the same time, as the #1 choice for the "most likely to choke" and as one of his favourites to win the whole thing!

    And that's entirely possible.
A team can be "BOOM" or "BUST".
That is France for you in 2019.

Is it possible for a team to win it all? Yep
Is it possible for a team to choke? Yep

France will do one or the other in 2019.
They'll either lose early in the knockout round (Round of 16 or Quarterfinal).
    Or, they'll win it all.

If they get to the Semifinal, and they have momentum after getting two knockout round victories for the first time ever in a major tournament = they will be your champions.

Unless they're playing USA without Jill Ellis in the Semifinal/Final.
Jill is not beating France late in this tournament (Semifinal / Final).
It doesn't even matter if she plays a "Two-Back" system. She won't win in France. :D

Unless one of their goal scorers pulls a "Carli Lloyd".
Or unless France shoots 45 shots, and none of them are on goal.
That is possible with France, especially in a knockout match.

Or unless some other variable comes in to play that is not mentioned here.

    So, basically, anything can happen.

    Unless it doesn't.
