Beck's got a new album out, Modern Guilt. Good stuff. Sea Change with catchy tunes basically. Youthless, one of my favorites so far.
Heard the new Beck song the other day - only one I ever enjoyed at first listen. BTW, I thought you said Ballack has a new album (I need a break!!)
I'm a Beck fanatic. Own every album and b-side known to man (Yes I'm obsessed) and got into old school country because of him. Now I just need to see him live.
Than you clearly cannot hate me. They are the best ever. Too much depth in their music. I could never get into the beatles, or most Brit-pop for that matter. However, for every British band I don't care for like the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Queen or Led Zeppelin, there are much better ones I do like such as the Clash, The Smiths, Blur, Suede, James, and the Jesus and Mary Chain.
I'm sorry, but... actually I'm not sorry - there is no ********ing way on earth that Suede or James are better than Pink Floyd or The Beatles or Led Zep or The Stones. Queen...meh.

Well, let's agree to disagree. You have terrible taste, that's OKAY, it doesn't make you a bad person.
As a Punk Rock kid I never gave the Beatles a shot, when I did, loved em. Zeppelin even more so, and I grew up the son of the biggest Floyd fan ever, they kickass.
Ma'am, can I have a large helping of "Huh?" with a side order of "What the F***?" I'll wash it down with a glass of "Why Bother".
If you like these guys, than you'll love The Features. They aren't as electronic as the Killers, but their psychadelic sound makes up for that. Alright, Suede and James were just personal favourites I put on the list. In all honesty, I left out Radiohead so replace them with Suede.
If you were to tell me a few years ago that I'd be listening to techno or electronic music of any kind, I would've laughed at you. Chemical Brothers, Golden Path. Very good live.
For the French connection, Serge Gainsbourg: Requiem Pour un Con. Very cool groove.
And probably my favorite musician, Frank Zappa. Probably one of the best musicians out there. Bobby Brown Goes Down: Willie the Pimp:
