Well yea, I believe some of the other guys also has told that story before but I mean its really has been a while since he really pulled that kind of run. He looked somewhat slow and jaded since that second leg against Liverpool.

I'm glad he finally back to his "normal" form.

Messi's closest freekick hattrick, two goals and post. I wonder how many freekick hattricks there is in the senior level?

 

No doubt there are others (especially pre-1990s) but here are five confirmed instances.

Nice one. So there's at least four of them, the first one isn't really a freekick hattrick as the freekicks are given by another player.
