I don't understand why people all over social media are going apeshit over the Pepsi thing... When you have a half-filled bottle, most of the weight is on the bottom and when the bottle lands it will generally land the right side up because of the weight distribution! Try it yourself! With a fully filled bottle or an empty bottle, it would be impossible. It doesn't involve magic and no Messi wouldn't need 100 tries to do the trick. The hard part is getting the ball through the hoop. The bottle trick is not special at all.
Why do you even read social media? It's the worst thing happen in Internet since it was built, nobody should read opinions there. As for the physics of it, it's not really that easy, as I've experimented it, and it does take some tries to get it working and the frequency of the bottle staying up isn't that great. If Messi did both of those in single first take, that is something special I think.

Yeah I have the database. The problem there is that it doesn't differentiate official games and friendlies. Goals against Nazis becomes the same as goals in WC finals.
