Yeh I actually like their podcast but they haven't been able to translate it to the show. Part of it is the production itself. They are clearly having issues and while part of the schtick is they are "sub-optimal", so far the show has just come off as amateurish. But a new show is hard to produce from scratch.

An article on the dynamic duo from Buzzfeed... which has generated a lot of shade from the soccer media world (at least on Twitter): http://www.buzzfeed.com/charliewarzel/the-men-in-blazers-are-finally-going-to-make-you-care-about
I couldn't find anything specific, other than a lot of US soccer media don't like them. Perhaps it's the johnny-come-lately status, maybe it's the focus on English football, but a lot rolled their metaphorical eyes at the article. That was repeated when the Sony email leaks recently showed they are paid $1 million a year by NBC for the show. Of course, that includes production costs, but that didn't stop a lot of disgust as well.
