looking up Sukuta-Pasu's club career and Austria was the only league he did well. bust in 1BL, 2BL, Belgium 1st league.
Many strikers who were decent in Austria end up struggling in the German 1BL/2BL: Sukuta-Pasu, Denis Thomalla, Terrence Boyd (German-American), Philipp Zulechner, Philipp Hosiner (Austrians)
Sukuta-Pasu could be cut by Duisburg after only joining them in the summer https://www.liga-zwei.de/msv-duisburg-mehrere-spieler-koennen-gehen/
he should just go back to Austria, seems like the older Pasu gets the more his celling is becoming barely 2BL and more towards 3rd Liga.
mentioned in another thread but 86 GK Florian Fromlowitz is currently in Germany 6th division, was heavily involved from Germany U15-U20.

lol from a post of the Havertz thread. Marc-André Kruska only 31. went from 2004-2008 playing for Borussia Dortmund, playing 107 games for the club. following his Dortmund days, his career just went down all the time. then he played 1 season in Belgium 1st division then he went to 8 seasons in 2BL then he went 2 seasons in 3rd Liga Now the present day he's playing along with 6 other Germans in the Luxembourg 1st division, 3 place team F91. how do you go from being a player who got the 1st Fritz Walter Gold for U18 (defunct now), playing over 100 games for Dortmund and one of the youngest to score in 1BL at 17 to the Luxembourg league.
and the trend of German-Turks to Turkey continues especially for players who don't really pan out in Germany. He lost his Furth place this season and was in RL all season. for some reason I thought Turkey NT had already poached him but nope he's still a Germany player and provisionally capped by us too.
Sukuta Pasu is on the verge of playing somewhere in China https://www.transfermarkt.de/duisbu...en-reisende-nicht-auf-ldquo-/view/news/330394
Sukuta Pasu to the Chinese second division Der #MSV und der chinesische Zweitligist Guandong Southern Tigers sind sich über den Wechsel von Richard #SukutaPasu einig. Looking back at some others, Christoph Nöthe is another player that could belong on the list. Back in the 2009/10 season when he was 21-22 y/o, Nöthe scored 15 goals for Greuther Fürth. But he never transitioned upward to making it on the first division and eventually faded.
I don't care about money, looking at it from sporting perspective. I never rated Pasu but recall the overhype he got, lol. Chinese league is a joke anyways. he can't even perform in 2BL.....
U don’t care about money but they care Like Dembele, Oscar, Hulk, Fellani, Hamsik, Sandro Wagner, Texeira, Carrasco, Gaitan, Renato Augusto, Bakumbu, Pato, Paulinho n Ramires.... They all play in China no? Some are young n Hamsik /Paulinho are 31, not that old to be honest I think if both a 2BL club or a Chinese club offer him a contract, Sukuta-Pasu would choose Chinese club anyway. At 29, he will go for money. Logical , nothing embarrassing
Sukuta Pasu has become even worse in recent years. He's barely even passable as a 2BL player right now. Wouldn't be surprised if he flops in China too.
And what does that list have in common.......Chinese 1st division. Pasu......Chinese 2nd division, lol. who are you kidding, all those guys you listed got trashed for leaving Europe just for money instead of focusing on the high level. not sure what's worse going to MLS or China.....
I'm feeling tempted to add Marco Reus to this group. I can't help but wonder what his career might have been were it not for his constant injuries, after all an injury is the reason he doesn't have a World Champion medal, plus he seemingly has bad timing, joining Borussia Dortmund after their best moment passed, and by the look of things the 2017 DFB-Pokal is set to become his only trophy title.
Reus is a likeable and talented player but embodies that of a tragic hero. He never had timing on his side. By the time he became healthy enough to play in a major tournament again, it happened to be one of Germany's worst ever World Cup appearances.
