Don't we need more wingers? I see the U-20 team released. Thoughts on those guys?
I think wings are less vital than our central midfielders and that we've got decent depth here. Here's a list of squad prediction (which include both outside backs and wingers as that may be how we set up).
Outside Back/Wing (5-6)
Creditor: Yedlin, Arriola, Garza, Lima, Lewis
Ives: Yedlin, Arriola, A. Robinson, Lichaj, Lovitz
dhc1: Yedlin, Arriola, A. Robinson, Johnson, Chandler, Holmes
largegarlic: Yedlin, Arriola, M. Robinson, [ ], [ ]
11Bravo: Yedlin, Arriola, Lima, Johnson, Robinson (not sure which one)
Duke: Yedlin, Arriola, F. Johnson, A. Robinson
Individual11: Yedlin, Arriola, Robinson (not sure which one), Lichaj, Holmes
Senior wide forwards--in 3G's scheme--include:
Rodriguez, Boyd, Robinson, Picault, Arriola, Yedlin, Holmes, Mueller, Gooch, Saucedo, Baird, Amon
Up and coming players include:
Konrad de la Fuente, Bwana,
Senior central mids would include:
Adams, Pulisic, Nagbe, McKennie, Morales, Green, Arriola, Sonora, Holmes, Busio, Pomykal, Aaronson, Mihailovic, Lletget, Roldan, Trapp, Durkin, Sands, Yuiell, Hyndman
For wingers using the same rubric:
High ceiling (Big 4 UCL potential):
Good ceiling (Top 125 team* potential, lower half of Big 4)
Modest ceiling (top 250 team* potential ~ top quartile player in MLS/B2/Championship):
I don't know
I don't the think Miles Robinson is going to move to winger.
Plus that list includes fullback.
