He got a 3.5 kicker rating for the game last weekend. Not sure why I’m looking up all these kicker ratings this morning.

So I’m assuming no news is good news on the injury front for our chubby cheeked assassin?

I don't pay any attention to kicker. For those who watched the game, how did McKennie do?

I saw this last week and didn't pay attention to the date. Showed up and the place was deserted. Was going to make it a doubleheader and attend a US watching party right after. Guess I'll try again this Saturday but instead will do a triple header by going immediately to Frisco afterward to watch scrimmages between FCD and Bayern U23 and the San Antonio.

I didn't notice the date either, but then again, I'm not in Dallas.

    Enjoy!

I thought he was good. He really looks like he belongs in BL, you wouldn't for a second think he is over his head. The only negative I noticed more than once was that he doesn't have enough direction with his head. He got to the ball, but he had less success than the other players getting the ball to some place useful, and there were a few times he could have really helped with a midfield header into a useful space. And if he were a step faster he was going to have nice goal. But really, this is nitpicking.

You think he is good now, just wait till you see him play...gasp...his natural position as a box to box midfielder. I kid but seriously, WM is so much better when the game is in front of him and there is just so much more in his tooltkit from the 8 than there is as a forward. It really kills 3 of my favorite attributes, his bite in the tackle, his ability to drive forward between the lines, and his through balls to the striker.

I think this will be good for him eventually as he learns all the other positions and picks up helpful things from them to add to his game. For now he flounders a bit playing forward or last year center defender. Since a center mid finds himself all over the field temporarily that knowledge could come in real handy at times when covering for a defender or making a run in the box.

Surprised by this, he's put in a lot of minutes and hard yards lately. Slight formation switch, has him sitting behind two strikers. Intrigued to see him in that position

We are playing a classic BuLi 4-2-3-1 with Bentaleb and Weston playing as double pivot (6/8). Serdar is playing at CAM.

For the first time in a very long time Tedesco is playing Weston in a standard box-to-box slot!

Looks like he got moved to RB. Tedesco must have forgotten how that went at the beg. of the season.

Thankfully Tedesco ended the #CB experiment with Weston at RCB and went back to a 4 backline and moved Weston up to CAM.

    Even the announcers were confused.

Undecided if I’m hoping he starts next match.
90min for 3 games in a row in 7 days isn’t a good idea for anyone whose last name isn’t Adams.

I think Mark Uth is simultaneously their best and worst player. He’s usually the best prayer they have for creating something not on a dead ball, but he’s terribly selfish and/or terrible in his decision making.

Who am I kidding. Their left back Ozcipka is obviously their worst player. And I know I had to have spelled his name wrong. He must lose the ball about 80% of the time he touches it. And he gives nothing of value going forward. His cross, should someone give him the 10 seconds he needs to hit it, is still going to hit the first man or go out for a goal kick.

They could also use some tactics. The team looks clueless on the whole.

Tedesco could afford to do less. It says great things about McKennie that he was able to switch between CF, CM, and RB in one game, but it says awful things about the manager that he thought it was a good idea.
