If Kyoto was in Italy, after practice he would have found probably only half of the car.

But of course most supporters who were at practice said: "Wow, kakko-ii!!"

Well, I believe they perhaps do well in appreciating Diego's car.
After all, they have paid for it.

I can tell you anyway that some people within the club really, but REALLY hate him, and that this year he won't be allowed to fcuk around as he did last season.

This guy pretty much has to propel Kyoto back to J1 and win the top-scorer award while quoting classical haiku, else he's setting himself up for a massive fall.

As the two captain of Japan and Korea went to the coin toss before the PK, I could not help thinking they both used o play for Sanga.

    Park Ji-Sung
    Yasuhito Endo

    ...

Nah, one of them used to play for Urawa, buddy, because Hasebe was captain.

    Hasebe was subbed.
Endo was captain when they tossed for the PKs.

Hasebe was subbed out in the 2nd extra time, and he gave the captaincy arm-band to Endo:rolleyes:.

So when the PSO took place Endo was the captain:rolleyes:.

    Ah, typical Reds' fan...

    (kidding... ;))

Btw, for one season (2000, I believe?), they were actually team-mates! Any other team ever had Japan and Korea's captains?? :)

    Little update.

First friendly vs Kataller was a terrible game, won 2-0 thanks to two random goals by Diego and Suzuki.

There is a new CB, and now everybody think that Tae-hwi (the only foreign player who was decent last season) will leave.

I think it is the boy who played for Yasu a few years ago, when they won the Senshuken, if I am not wrong -- I remember his face (I believe), but I forgot the name.

Overall, the team looked like crap, only the first TM, anyway.

Sanga's foreign centerback should be the Brazilian Alair de Souza Camargo Junior, who was at Ehime FC.

So, Sanga has basically swapped its best player Kwak Tae-hwi, for a J2 Brazilain player.

    Good luck!

Alair is a good player, he won't disappoint you.

...I expect him to be decent.
But surely he is not Lee Jong-soo or Kwak Tae-hwi.

About 10 years ago Sanga had some of the best Asian player ever, and in recent years some very respectable footballers, but the management is so idiotic that they regularly lose them all...

Just think of Endo, Park, Kazu, Matsui, and in more recent years Sato, Sidiclei, Lee, Yanagisawa, Paulinho, etc...

But hey! Diego is still there!!

You actually totally misread that, the press release says that the supporter's group has sufficiently atoned for their actions and their ban has been rescinded.

Haha. He probably wanted to go to Cerezo, but the new uniforms convinced him Sanga was the team for him!

What will Beauty King Masushima fans' say?

What I wanna know is - did Kato deliberately try to copy Steve Buscemi's look, or is he just not hairy enough to grow a "real" moustache ?

I didn't actually care to read it at all, it was passed to me by a German friend and I deservedly now feel like an idiot.

But great to know that Kyoto Sanga got 30 supporters back...

Sanga won? Surely Gainare were playing their fringe players for the first team match. Surely.

Interesting result. Were the goals all spread out, or concentrated into a half hour of frantic defence-collapsing play?

    That looks pretty even. Impressive.

Might be a good shout to finish top of J2... or it just shows that Tottori will be rock bottom and even be Giravanz's punching bag.

I think it is the second you said. However, I must report that a few friends who were at the camp and at TM games reported Sanga playing actually pretty well.

But of course after the anti-soccer seen in the last two season, anything else would look awesome, I think...
