No Kashiwa Reysol thread as well... Discuss and say something about the team and their season and their next season and so on...
Woah... easy on the new threads, all Kashiwa thoughts will be discussed in the J1 thread unless there's specific Kashiwa fans on here, which for the timing being there isn't.
I just finished my review of the season And went from 18th place to 1st. That is the reason I added the threads for those teams that were missing. Though I am surprised. I mean you don't have to be a fan to discuss them. And if you throw your post in the general J1 discussion it will be hard to find and isn't sorted. For instance some other threads have a good chronological overview and it was useful when I read them. Learned something new. But nothing could be learned about Kashiwa, Nagoya and other teams whose threads were not here. Just to stay on topic What do you guys think are the chances of both of Brazilians, Sakai, and Tanaka staying for the next season (I take it Kudo and Sugeno are 99% sure to stay)
Well they are bringing back Tomoki Ikemoto from loan and there are still some speculations circling around about Ricardo Lobo but that is imo IT as far as Strikers to Kashiwa is concerned. At last for this season.
I think Leandro Domingues and Jorge Wagner will stay. No speculation about any of them leaving yet. Sakai also should stay, at least until the Olympics. I'm looking forward to Reysol campaign in next ACL, it won't be easy to get through a group with Jeonbuk Motors and Guangzhou Evergrande.
Kashiwa annouced on its website five new players for next season: Goro Kawanami (GK) - loan return from Tochigi SC Masato Fujita (FB) - from Yokohama FC Ryoji Fukui (CB) - from Giravanz Kitakyushu Hirofumi Watanabe (CB) - loan return from Tochigi SC Ricardo Lobo (FW) - from Tochigi SC Park Dong-Hyuk (CB) is leaving to Chinese side Dalian Shide.
I don't know if someone has noticed it but anyway While I am doing my regular analysis of players and keeping tab of their scoring this info just stares at me all the time and it's becoming more and more obvious 1. Hisato Sato (Sanfrecce Hiroshima) - 18......(64 strelov - 1 penal - 25 nastopov) 2. Ryoichi Maeda (Jubilo Iwata) - 12.................(46 strelov - 1 penal - 25 nastopov) 3. Akihiro Sato (Gamba Osaka) - 11................(38 strelov - 23 nastopov) 3. Masato Kudo (Kashiwa Reysol) - 11..........(47 strelov - 24 nastopov) 4. Wilson (Vegalta Sendai) - 10......(45 strelov - 2 penal - 23 nastopov) 4. Yohei Toyoda (Sagan Tosu) - 10 (50 strelov - 24 nastopov) 4. Genki Omae (Shimizu S-Pulse) - 10.........(44 - 2 penala - 25 nastopov) 5. Shinzo Koroki (Kashima Antlers) - 9 .........( 39 strelov - 23 nastopov) 6. Shingo Akamine (Vegalta Sendai) - 8........(39 strelov - 23 nastopov) 6. Kensuke Nagai (Nagoya Grampus) - 8 (40 strelov - 22 nastopov) 6. Marcio Richardes (Urawa Reds) - 8............(40 strelov - 2 penala - 22 nastopov) 6. Leandro Dominguez (Kashiwa Reysol) - 8 (88 strelov - 1 penal - 23 nastopov) 6. Lucas (FC Tokyo) - 8 (35 strelov - 1 penal - 25 nastopov) just a legend as it's written in Slovenian language strelov = shots penal = penalty nastopov = appearances I have highlighted the thing which was "bothering" me Sure enough Leandro likes to shoot a lot and is also creating himself chances to do so. But in the end it also comes to the realization of those chances and pure % If we check it for the above players... Akihiro Sato = 28,95% Hisato Sato = 28,13% Ryoichi Maeda = 26,09% Masato Kudo = 23,40% Shinzo Kuroki = 23,08% Lucas = 22,86% Genki Omae = 22,73% Wilson = 22,22% Shingo Akamine = 20,51% Yohei Toyoda = 20,00% Kensuke Nagai = 20,00% Marcio Richardes = 20,00% Leandro Dominguez = 9,09% Now I know those percentages do look tight apart from Leandro's but if we would to speak plainly we would just say that the worst of the lot like Nagai, Toyoda and Richardes would score a goal for every 5 chances they get while a guy like Maeda would need less than 4 and both Sato's are approaching only 3 chances per goal While our "ACE of spades" Leandro Dominguez actually needs more than 11 chances to score one goal. And if I add that out of those 8 goals of his one came from a penalty and he actually had two penalties so far (missed one) I think that this statistic actually does tell us something.
Interesting, but a big difference with most of those players is that Leandro is an AM, not a FW. Therefore, a lot of his shots comes from further out than what would be the case for a standard FW. Among those other players only Marcio Richardes are in the same position as Domingues.
I did think of that and looked at the scoring charts and things were similar For instance: Hiroki Yamada 40 shots 8 goals = 20% Yoichiro Kakitani 35 shots 7 goals = 20% Toshiyuki Takagi 35 shots 8 goals = 22,22% Kim Bo Kyung 40 shots 7 goals = 17,5% Kosuke Yamamoto 24 shots 6 goals = 25% Genki Haraguchi 29 shots 6 goals = 20,67% (although he operates as some kind of striker) and for instance among the above 5 guys no one except Kim took any penalty shots (Kim took one and scored it) Leandro on the other hand had 2 penalty shots and scored one of those two
i have to admit that this year i watched just 3 or 4 Reysol games (plus a couple in ACL),so i can't say i'm too expert about them, but i'm wondering what's the problem with Junya Tanaka... almost never a starter in the second half of the season, very late, late subs...now even Neto Baiano plays more than him! someone knows what's wrong with him?
I had that feeling too...but after all Nelsinho is the same man that launched him. So what's with Nelsinho: dementia senilis after winning the championship??
I don't know the situation and cannot comment on it. But I like to see Junya in Reysol's attack so...
I hadn't watched much besides the highlights of their matches, but I've got the impression he went to the bench just because he's not impressing enough.
Inada-Fujita,Nasu,Kondo,Hashimoto-L.Domingues,Kurisawa,Ohtani,Mizuno-Tanaka,Kudo. Junya finally starting,Jorge Wagner on the bench that's what's saying J.League official live report...but there's 2 hours to kick-off.
thanks for the replay. and, whats your predict for this game? urawa must win the game for the title race, kashiwa too, for the acl spot. last league game of urawa is hurtfull for them. i wonder do they can recover... just look at nagoya, they didint recover yet it seems. i see a high tension match up today. could be lots of goals, 4-3 kashiwa or 2-3 urawa.
I hope for a Reds win. But i don't think it will happen, and i don't think Reds could seriously challenge for title
hmmm... a gamba fans to hope for urawa win, thats interesthing and rare to me. cerezo and kashiwa are the two teams that i like the game style in the league since few season . alongside good era of gamba. urawa this season current position is not bad, compare to the last few seasons. if they win this game, they can challenge or keep the acl spot. what ever it is, i hope to see good game from both side. i see a kashiwa victory . today is leandro's day. in gamba osaka in kashiwa.
Can somebody explain to me what happened with Kitajima? I don't understand this situation: according to Wiki, he is gone on loan to Roasso. Is here some Kashiwa-fan who can explain to me why - in one year - he moved from important part of the team to nothing?
Kitajima was an important player for Kashiwa at the beginning of last season, but his performances were below average in the second semester and he gradually lost his place to Kudo.
Not so simple. Kitajima was a key figure in the promotion of Reysol and in the title winning season, not only on the pitch but also in the dressing room, being a charismatic figure and a life-long Reysol supporter. The way he was deemed surplus and being substituted in the line-up by Ricardo Lobo at the start of the season was quite poor.
