This guy absolutely blew it today. He blew it last year "focusing" on on solely on the league and he's about to blow it this year again. I honestly don't see him back next year without a league title this year.

We lost two games last year and didn't win the league. Insanity is doing the same thing over again and expecting different results. Not sure what else to tell you guys. Getting our asses beat by Rio Ave is unacceptable.
All too often the next game after a disappointing loss (in this case the Real game) there is always a let down. It happens to all teams. It is on the coach to not let or minimize this from happening. In a way, (not that any loss is a good one) it servers as a good lesson to Sporting players and Im sure they will not let this happen again.
I agree but I don't think the winner this season will get higher than 82 points... I don't think Benfica is as good as last season and the same probably applies to Sporting.
It appears JJ was banned for two Champions League matches instead of just 1? That would mean he misses the next match vs. Dortmund.

Jorge Jesus suspended 15 days following the post-match reaction to the result of the Taça da Liga match vs. Setubal. After the match he along with most of the team surrounded the referee and vehemently protested the late penalty awarded to Setubal which knocked us out of the competition and he was sent off by the referee. He will miss the next two games vs. Chaves away (league and cup)
If JJ coached for Porto they would have suspended the coach of another team for their own infractions. Thats when you know you are good. lol
I know you're a good sport. But the difference here is that Porto was caught and punished while Benfica continues to rob the entire league with no repercussions. An unprecedented amount of unpunished corruption that Apito Dorado can't even touch.
