    What's your evidence for that?
Not until you answer that question, which is facially hilarious.

After Iran's missile attacks against the US bases in Iraq, the POTUS (not some media outlet in Iran, whose exaggerated report on the extent of US casualties became part of the typical propaganda ploy to undercut the credibility of official Iranian assessments) claimed that the attacks had done little damage to the US base and causes no deaths or injuries to American soldiers. The initial reaction from the mouthpieces of the anti-Iran crowd was to say Iran's missile had hit 'sand' and 'missed their targets."

Not long after this claim by Trump, 'before and after' satellite imagery of some of the areas impacted by Iranian missiles already showed that he was lying about the impact of the strikes. For almost a week after the attacks, the Pentagon still refused US journalists access to the base or the troops in the Al Asad base which had been attacked by Iran. Once journalists were belatedly allowed to visit the base more recently, the evidence of the damage done become more clear.

On US casualties, Iran's position was that it was not trying to kill US soldiers in its strike, but casualties would have been inevitable regardless. In fact, the briefing from General Hajizadeh on the subject indicated that Iran had 'documented' evidence of injured US troops being evacuated and flown outside of Iraq by C-130 planes after its missile strikes. Now we are learning more.

Unfortunately, much of the world has been caving into Trump's antics and threats. The Europeans have been specially guilty in this regard, but to the truth is that no one (other than the axis of resistance led by Iran) is willing to openly confront the bully that is the US. In fact, they all have been appeasing the bully in more ways than one.

The initial reports were of zero causalities. Pretty sure that's still true.

Were the Iranian people ever told the report of 80 American deaths was wrong?

I will concede the initial damage reports were somewhat wrong and the Iranian missiles were more accurate than originally reported. The difference is the corrections done after the fact when not forced to correct. That's the difference between state run or state approved media and what we have in the west.

Which dogs? The ones controlled by the state?

It’s much more difficult to equate Trump with western media.

How's the cruise missile excuse playing, IM? I give the IRI credit: they know the point at which most journalists will run out of competence and will swallow whatever sounds halfway plausible rather than investigate further. Masters at saving face.

Possible rift between Khamanei and Rouhani administration? Rouhani appears to snub Khamanei during today’s Friday prayers by leaving early before Khamanei finished praying.

Why would either side want to tell falsehoods about this latest debacle? Trump and the Iranian biggies are both very religious so they wouldn't lie.....would they!!

And there are multiple other national networks that push back against FOX.

    America didn't invent FOX.

For sure Fox is the only media that exists in the Western world, it is the #1 rated News show in Germany correct?

Around 90% of the media in the USA is owned by four conglomerates. The idea that the media in the west is really diverse and free and impartial is for the birds.

Not to mention most of the time conservatives sit around complaining about the partisan "liberal media"

But truly, when you voted in Mango Unchained as your leader, this moral superiority dog just won't hunt.

4 conglomerates, ok, that is a lot compared to other countries, I am sure than having one tv station run by Religious figures would be much better, also thankfully our internet services are blocked and sensor, that we do not have access to other TV stations outside the USA, our great government blocks all those fake media sites like the BBC, or Al-Jazira or France24 for our own good.

Than again, we also have Mullahs TV telling people all kind of bullshit.

Our own Ayatollah pat robertson and his family do very well in one.

Rouhani is the biggest loser in all of this. He will either resign now or spend the last two years of his presidency as a lame duck president publicly clashing with Khamanei, just like Ahmadinejad before him.

Rouhani ran on a reformist agenda, even though he wes never a reformer. He was always a pragmatic conservative. He wanted to use JCPOA and the public support for it, as well his connections within the conservative/centrist wing of the establishment, to challenge Khamanei and eventually replace him, when Khamanei dies that is. But one thing he hadn’t taken into his calculations, was the Trump effect. Rouhani made his big bet on JCPOA and lost it all. His career, legacy and any prospects of replacing Khamanei are all gone now.

I fail to see how I can be blamed for Trump getting elected, so his whole line of argument makes no sense.
