I'm hoping Barca have an away match in the Basque region on 9 September as I'll be there. Normally it would be a long-shot but there are 4 La Liga teams in Basque this season so 10% chance! :geek: (OTOH, don't really want Barca to go to the Aneota after an int'l break  )

Deulofeu and Rafinha left out with injuries. Jokin Ezkieta is added (never heard of him before).

    edit: Ezkieta is a GK

i wouldn't be surprised to see him move ahead of Vidal at some point soon.
he's already in the squad for the preseason, so he'll get his chances.

Barca starts at home to Betis! Revenge of the disallowed goal.

First El Clasico is weekend of 20th December and return is weekend of 6th May.

Actually the first clasico is midweek since Christmas falls on a Monday.:mad:

This is the latest in the season I can remember a clasico being. Jornada 36. :coffee:

It'll probably be moved anyway due to LPB and Club World Cup.

Ah crap! Good point. But moved to a midweek in 2018.

Well, since they're meeting 3 times in preseason maybe its good that they don't see each other again until February.

Edit: Then again, the CWC matches for LPB are on 13 and 16 December. The clasico will probably be played on the 21st then (Thursday).

This has the makings of one team giving the other a pasillo at Camp Nou.
And given the status of both clubs at the moment, Liga officials obviously looking forward to Barca coming out of the dugout first.

I'd be lying if I said that thought didn't occur to me straight away when I saw the calendar. Although it would still require LPB to build a 10-point gap above not only Barca but every other La Liga team.

Of course another scenario is that they could clinch the league on that day which would be just as embarrassing and quite a bit more likely :cautious:.

Scenario 3: If someone is leading the other by exactly 3 points the match will be epic because one team would have the chance to clinch, but OTOH the other team will have a chance to grab first place with a win, and thus huge favorites to take the league crown.

so he isn't playing Semedo , Alba , busi and Suarez , he said he will play Masch in the midfield but he is playing him as a CB again , Vidal who is a winger is playing as a defender again , yeah if i was Neymar i'll just skip this garbage and fly straight to Paris because it seems Valverde is even worse than Lucho :cautious:

This game started pretty high paced. 2 chances with Neymar on the left and could have already scored 1 goal.

That's more composure in front of the goal than Neymar showed all season long last year.
