Iirc, many people had this reservation about him being extremely injury prone since beginning. Sucks that a players supposed to replace Marcelo seems to have been made up of glass.
@YOUNGSTARS87 said it was legit. I guess him being a pro athlete and all, I'd take hid word for it. But both in the Navy and in my workout experience, looks like poor training
Why say these things without evidence? You remember incorrectly. Here is the gist of his injury past: At 11 years old, he had a serious hip injury that put him in a wheelchair. Of course, he recovered from that and has nothing to do with the muscle injuries in his leg that he currently has. Since then he played 2 years at Lyon where he only had 1 minor injury. How does this history create “many people had reservations that he’s extremely injury prone” and “made of glass”? Those are extreme statements.
I think you are talking about Man City's Mendy, not our Mendy. From what i can see he's had 3 injuries (all 3 of them muscle injuries), 2 with us and 1 with Lyon.
It would be interesting to see whole routine. Specifically amount of repetitions, series and crucially ratio between work / rest. Besides, technique seems off. Correction, techniques look off considering every players does it differently for the irony.
I don't trust Nacho anymore. I hope we don't start him against Atleti. Perhaps play Militao wide? He did have experience at right-back in Porto. Perhaps we can try a 3 CB formation with Lucas or Odriozola as a wing-back beneath Hazard?
I think there are some workout videos on RM's youtube channel but i'm too lazy to look them up. However i think that video is from last season and if im not mistaken that's not the same coach anymore. People often criticize our medical team but these injuries are more the result of the fitness/physical coaches.
I'm not talking about them though. I'm talking about legit pro athletes who are coached by very good and smart people.
Example of how social media is ruining the world. The guy tweeting this has very limited knowledge about workouts, training regime, etc.... but because this idiot has followers it gives him a platform show his "expertise".
If we're being honest here, I practically use the club house gym outside of the hours that the football team is using it, at the club that I'm registered with. Can't stand the cringe, or the attitude. Self harming bozos. If using the gym is part of the culture at this age it wouldn't surprise me if some players stick with that even when they turn pro.
I have another theory for all these injuries. It's not the workouts, it's reggaeton that's responsible for all these injuries. Just like that Colombian doctor said about James. These guys party too much. All these leg injuries are clearly a result of booty dancing. These chicks be going down low and it's causing abductor injuries
