I believe both of them will resume training by the end of this week, if not sooner.

Good news indeed, I know it’s fashionable to hate on Isco but this season he’s looked good, hopefully the injury didn’t set him back.
I would love to see a Casimero, Isco and James midfield at some point.

It would be good to see it to see if it could work, we wouldn’t know unless it was at least tried, my gut tells me though, with the ball yes, without the ball, not so much, think i’d much prefer and trust Casemiro, James Modric

If Modric is playing anywhere near his best then yes his inclusion is no brainer but i dont think this line up would be as weak off the ball as you think, both James and Isco have displayed they worked harder off the ball than Kroos for example so if Kroos/James combo could work then i don't see why James/Isco couldnt.

In any case i'm not saying this should be our starting mid but i do want to see it tried for a couple of games.

Says Mendy is not training with the team due to muscle discomfort. There's a chance of possible injury. With Marcelo also injured, Nacho could start against Osasuna.

That’s his second injury so far since joining us, right?

Jeez what’s up with these injuries. This one especially hurts since Marcelo is also hurt and doesn’t offer the security blanket like Mendy does. Guess we will see Nacho as LB.

Not too worried about this upcoming game but against Atletico. Hopefully Marcelo is fully recovered by then and on form..

Isco and Modric trained with the group today. It would be massive to have one of them back ready for Atleti at the weekend.

Fran Garcia trained with the team, a Castilla fullback.

One has nothing to do with the other. Don’t let your perception of Ferland be influenced by Benjamin.

This Mendy wasn't injury prone before joining us, besides we've had 10 muscle injuries this season so the problem might not be the players.

That's what people told me when we signed this guy. Look at his injury profile now. We've learnt nothing from Bale injury issue

Those people don't know what they're talking about then because Mendy played 5745 minutes with Lyon in two seasons, how do you play that much when you're supposedly injury prone?

Maybe he didn't get as physically tested in that league

So what logic should we have used? That the name Mendy can be injury prone even if he has been rarely injured in one of the most physical leagues? [emoji23]
