Last word was blue, with green/white accents, in the same pattern as the green kit already unveiled. But, that was a couple of months ago.
More of an alternate than away kit correct? I would hope they wear the green whenever and wherever possible.
Since the green is such a light/yellowish green, about the only games they couldn't wear it are those against Columbus. MLS/TV broadcasters could also ask them to change kits for the Houston games so that there's enough contrast between the kits on the black & white TVs in the trucks to tell the teams apart. Otherwise, you probably could have every other game next season in the greens.
Some progress is being made. Scarves are now available online: http://proshop.seahawks.com/products.asp?ID=82&ProdID=4635 I'm hoping adidas doesn't screw the Sounders and they can deliver jerseys before the holiday shopping season.
Any word on scarves for season-ticket holders ala Toronto? I'm going to go ahead and order one now, anyway. But that might be cool.
Scott - That is a great idea! Filling the stadium with color will go a long ways towards making our first game that much more special. I'll poke my nose around and see what I find.
I'm thinking about buying a bunch of plain rave green tshirts and passing them out to people w/o proper attire. Any chance that the whoareya shirts ECS has the deal with could hook ut up for cheap?
I was thinking about buying a scarf and having it shipped over to me (in China), but the shipping cost was a whopping $60 I don't see how shipping can be $60 for a scarf. I wanted to buy the jersey too when it came out but there is no way I'm forking over $60 (shipping) for a jersey..
Yeah, it's a good idea. TFC season-ticket holders all get scarves that actually say the number of their section on the scarf, along with logos and such. I'm not holding my breath, though, and I went ahead and ordered three today -- one for the entire family.
