Perry humiliates himself by claiming he needs "red team" climate sceptics .@SenFranken patiently schooling Rick Perry on what scientists do for a living is a marvel of self-control. #climate pic.twitter.com/Mwjj410Wu6— Steve Silberman (@stevesilberman) June 28, 2017
Yeah. but they're both wearing glasses so that must mean they're both smart. Just sounds like a couple of egg-heads having a 'sciencey' disagreement to me
880907798393106432 is not a valid tweet id Look, obviously the Chinese remotely hacked those satellites to tamper with the data, so you libtards would throw another "climate change!!!!" hissy fit!
I'm a little tempted to go looking at the dumber portions of the internet to see if anyone is floating that idea. But it's a nice day, so I'll just stay on bigsoccer then head out for breakfast.
This has always been one of the risks that is factored into meta studies like AR5 Models, measurements etc could be underestimating the trend. It's also why being "skeptical" is invalid, because you are then believing that the models must be hot.
I am not sure how truthful this is, but it sounds good to me. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1436087586430245&id=100000870529951 Economic incentives.
I wonder what the Rules of Acquisition say about Global Warming. I guess this would fall under rules 23 and 102? Nothing is more important than your health... except for your money. Nature decays, but latinum lasts forever. Though rule 125 might suggest otherwise. You can't make a deal if you're dead.
Actually, that picture is from the classic Deep Space Nine episode "Little Green Men" (Season 4 Episode 8), a time-travel episode that takes place c. 1948 at Area 51 in New Mexico. A classic.
Greenland is melting, and the floodgates may already be open: https://t.co/IiJIZRNKSh pic.twitter.com/lNvjBE8Ttb— The New Yorker (@NewYorker) July 6, 2017 Obviously this is another Chinese fabrication. I have to say that they should be commended for their deep commitment to the scam.
So in the last 48 hours we have the first auto brand, Volvo, announcing that they will completely phase out combustion engines by 2019. France announces that they will have a full ban on petroleum and diesel powered vehicles by 2040. Australia announces building the world's largest lithium ion battery. And EU and Japan sign a trade deal that has the Paris accords as one of its central objectives. At what point will the GOP admit that this is a one way street? I'll tell you when. It'll be when the campaign donations from fossil fuel industrialists dries up. Then the GOP will have collective amnesia and pretend they were for renewables all along. And they'll have the nerve to lecture us that if Democrats would have gotten out of the way, the green revolution would have happened sooner. The real issue will be to privatize and profit as much as possible off the new technology and fight whatever cheaper and cleaner thing comes next.
One small-ish point: Volvo will not "completely phase out combustion engines by 2019." The phase out of internal combustion engines by 2019 is for new models. They'll continue to produce existing models with those engines through, I believe, 2024.
China just completed a solar farm shaped as a Panda. More cool stuff that coal can't do http://www.businessinsider.in/china...d-like-a-giant-panda/articleshow/59477543.cms
Coal....If you dig it they will buy! In all fairness to Secretary Ricky Perry no one should be asking to see his Texas A&M transcripts unless the guy says fundamentally stupid and ignorant things regularly. Rick Perry's Texas A&M transcript shows only a single course in economics, "ECON 203 Principles of Economics". Perry received a D.
http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2017/07/climate-change-earth-too-hot-for-humans.html Permafrost you say? Sounds like something the Chinese would invent to me. Okay Xi Jinping.
