    two more transfer rumours.

    1) Carlton Cole. - the guy that's scored 9 premiership goals in almost 100 premiership appearance. no thanks.

    2) Darren Huckerby. - has spoken about his close relationship with WGS from their time at Coventry but hasn't been in touch with him... yet. 32yrs old. just released by Norwich who are 17th in the championship. thanks but again, no thanks.

    don't know mate.

one thing i do believe though is regardless of what happens at the end of this season i think WGS will leave as it seems, and it saddens me to say, that too many 'fans' don't want him.

It is a shame, he twigged too little too late but i am thankful Celtic's spirit is coming back and we are fighting tooth and nail for this league let's hope Dundee United feel giddy this weekend.

However, as for Frank - i ain't too sure about him though he might do well at Celtic but again i don't know too much of his antics though i am sure he is a better choice than O'Leary! Though, would Frank actually come to Celtic?

Alas, let's focus on the weekend. Come on the Bhoys.

Aye, but I think he would be a big name and with him and Henke talking up the club we could grab of a few of Barca's players who are not getting a run on week to week. ;)

the fact that you think celtic could even afford rijkaard or that he'd come to scotland is laughable.

strachan is probably the best manager you'll get at this time, if he leaves you'll be stuck with some numpty like mark mghee or david o'leary.

It seems that David Moyes is linked with a move to Celtic Park next season...

But how does the Celtic board justify sacking Gordon in the case he should win the SPL title again...? :)

unsubstantiated reports that we've agreed a deal with Ognjen Vukojevic. nothing concrete and this means nowt but his Wikipedia article has been altered to reflect this.

well nothing is set in stone but there's a possibility if he were to win the league this year that he may leave on a high of his own accord.

at this minute in time i'm not sure what to think to be honest.

Yeah I heard that one too, tbh he isn't going to score 20 goals at Newcastle let alone 30. He should stay put if he has a head on his shoulders but I hear he can be a really moody player.

I doubt there is much to it. 4-4-2 isn't the most reliable for transfer info.

but here is some BIG transfer news.

my girlfriends best friend works at parkhead. she only gives info to me when she's sure it's correct because she knows i'll spill it.

this morning she was told - Artur Boruc to Manchester Utd for £11mill.

It's a pity, but a 11 million transfer fee would be a good compensation.

Hell i'd hate to see him leave but i'd also want more for him. You know how the big spenders are down south i think they should cough up more, the Holy goalie is worth every penny and they know it.

Just as long as we spend it well, let's see what players we can get from Barca and Valencia now they are spring cleaning!

    Joaquin for Celtic!!! :D

hope we get that boy from America, he looked a good buy.

If I was Celtic, I'd probably get as much cash for Boruc and McGeady as possible. Maybe between £20-25 million.

Then buy a decent replacement keeper for ~£5 million. (Maybe look to Eastern Europe again).

If McGeady goes, he might not even need replacing as Celtic have a pretty strong midfiled as it is. Then they'd have ~£15 million, at least, to get a new defender and a new striker.

I think, with the right signings, that would make them a much better team.

I'd agree with that Gordon but from what I've heard McGeady won't be leaving this summer or anytime soon.

it looks like we've already made our first summer signing move.

I would agree with that as well. Boruc is gone I think we all realize that, I just think we should wait till after the Euros as I think Poland are going to have a good performance and his price tag could go up a bit especially with alot of top clubs looking for keepers. As far as McGeady goes I think he would benefit another year or so at Parkhead before heading south. Not that I want to see him go, hes exciting to watch with the ball.
