Zidane turns to players like Modric, he doesn’t turn players into Modric. The only way Zidane would choose Chelsea is if there is no transfer ban and he’s handed a half-billion or so to spend.
And Hazard can turn him into Hazard. But for real I was really excited when it was rumored that Atletico had inquired about Pulisic in the fall because of Simeone. It's still hard not to make the argument that Pulisic functions most like a Hazard lite though.

Yes, they didn't make a ton of moves, but he did inherit a team that largely contained players in their prime. I think he utilized one player under the age of 23. most were in their mid to late 20s. Of course, that doesn't mean if he coached Chelsea he wouldn't use young players. It just signified that while managing Madrid, he largely had players who were already proven. Chelsea would likely be similar.

Yes! Haven’t seen the lineup format yet, but hoping he plays on the left and Sancho on the right. Looks like Dahoud will probably be central even though everyone was hoping Pulisic would be. I wonder how much Dortmund cares about UCL over winning the title this season.
