Christian Pulisic at AC Milan

Discussion in 'Yanks Abroad' started by Balerion, Jun 30, 2014.

  1. Is he going to play against Feyenoord in Marbella?

    BVB testet Rotterdam

Zudem spielt Borussia Dortmund am 11. Januar gegen Feyenoord Rotterdam.

    Curious.

Technically, Pulisic is now officially a Chelsea player that is loaned out to Dortmund.

If Dortmund wins the BL, does Pulisic gets the recognition as a BL title winner? Does he get a ring/trophy? I mean, technically, he's not a Dortmund player.

I believe it depends on the league, contracts , playing time and maybe even goals scored. Most contracted , rostered players are entitled to all bonus money though. Its been over 19 years but a friend of mine , Fabio Petruzzi, played for Roma and his playing time diminished when Fabio Capello was hired. He was a starter for Carlo Mazzone and Zeman but not Capello who didn't regard him. He was on the roster during the 1999-2000 season and the team finished 6th place where Roma qualified for the UEFA Cup. He didn't play much but he got all the sponsorship and bonus money for making the UEFA Cup. The next year when they won the scudetto, he was shipped off to Brescia and he didn't get the title earnings because he was not part of that team. I'm sure things have changed since then but I'm assuming Pulisic will get whatever the rest of the team is entitled to as long as he is part of the team.

Let's hope Sarri can unleashed this Pulisic in the EPL.

Exactly. He was playing fewer minutes not because he was at odds with the team, but just because the other guy was playing better, and arguably Bruun-Larsen, for all his limitations, was connecting with the rest of the team better too.

Technically, he is a BDort player at this point. The loan under FIFA regs is a short term transfer. So if Bmunch doesn't revert to their usual annoying form, Pulisic should get a ring. It would be petty not to give him one and this doesn't seem like a petty sort of parting. He will certainly get recognition as a title winner. What he wouldn't get would be the incentives in his old Dort contract for winning a title, but that only makes sense.

He gets half a ring or a toe ring. He's allowed to choose.

Now that his contract situation is settled, I am looking for a very fun and exciting 2nd half of the season from CP.

I am calling 6 goals and 10 assists.

Ask 60 minutes. No idea. I do wonder what his buyout clause it though.

I dunno. That'd be at the top end. they won't have brought him in on Hazard wages, 200 a week, because, well, just because. But maybe it is quite safe to say that he's making at least what Bats is, so $115k a week, or just about $6m annually. I mean, that's not bad at all as raises go, 500% at the low end? Plus, I would think he had something in his contract giving him a slice of the $72m.

How did he do before being substituted? He looked like he was winning free kicks in the offensive half at least according to the tracker. And for once Sancho didn't shoot the moon as his replacement.

I thought he was better combing with teammates. That I think was his because problem in the first half of the season. Dortmund plays quick combinations on the counter and Pulisic often was too slow in combining.
