Well, it's obviously time to look toward a new era with a new coach and hopefully new talent. Who do you see in the NT in the future, 2012,2014 and beyond?

Skyhawk- You're in Denver? Me too.

I would have loved to see Menez on the right for France. Hopefully Blanc will give him a look.

    Feels like déjà vu...

I think people tend to overlook Briand, he's quite smart and believe me that's a trait we've been lacking lately ! Sure he's not a huge scorer but really the kind of guy who can animate the whole offence.

Laurent Koscielny is 25 tough, I wouldn't really say he's the "future," we have IMMENSE talent, I think we might rival Germany in talent :) but they have a lot of "German" (wink wink) talent. lol

We'd have done better taking younger, hungrier guys instead of these bored prime donne.

    So true .

The issue is that after the terrible Euro 2008 the team should've been in a rebuilding process , at that stage the team was clearly on the decline in every single way .

The team basically hasn't improved since then ... Now it's going to take a terrible World Cup for the bastards that are called the F.F.F to wake up .

actually they should have started rebuilding after 06 WC after thuram, makelele, zidane all retired and when it was also the beginning and decline of henry, trez, sagnol, and viera, guilly, cisse, govou, coupet

instead this full domenech decides to force thuram, and makelele out of retirement, bring injured like viera, sagnol, henry to euro 08, n brings newbee of gomis when trezs was having his last best season were he score 20 goals

if they had rebuilt back then, they would have matured football wise

should have done what brazil did, take out the gabbage first so that it doesn't infect the whole team, and look for players willing to play for the jersey and discipline

Now that Laurent Blanc has taken over as France coach, this new era of French football, this new era of Les Bleus can start and flourish, but the only thing Laurent Blanc has to do with France is take "The Germany Approach"

What I mean by "The Germany Approach" is that Les Bleus remodels itself to the point where the national team is displayed with youth, having youthful, young players all throughout the national team, so that way they can have experience in big-match situations, and have the young guys play together as a team for years to come

It will make France more of a threat that way, that is all that I am saying

2014 I hope you guys can do that and build your team so that it has youth like how Germany has

Like building the team around Yoann Gourcuff, Karim Benzema, Samir Nasri, Hugo Lloris, Philippe Mexes, Jeremy Toulalan, Hatem Ben Arfa, Moussa Sissoko, Valbuena, Ribery, Gignac, and more youthful stars like M'Vila, N'Zogbia, Sakho, etc.

Not a big deal really for Nico at least. Like he said, his international career was over the minute he got kicked out of the squad. This is just a symbolic gesture.

France if anything are rebuilding, you guys are rebuilding right now, and for your national team if anything you guys need a whole new look, a look that screams youth, and splash your team full of youth with youngsters replacing veterans, but still retain some of your veterans within your national team, so that way you guys will have a young team, and you guys can be kind of like Germany in that aspect of building your team around your youth

The future talent for France is Antoine Griezmann,
    [IMG]
He has been the best player in the under 19 tournament,
Born 21 March 1991, he is a winger and he is known for his technical skill, quick acceleration, and dribbling.
Now he plays with Real Sociedad but he already drew interest from Premier League clubs Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Yes. Greizmann is full of talent and supposedly he did well for Sociedad today. Almost put the game away with what was described as a great shot but it deflected off the post. I'm excited to see what club he goes to next, and how soon he makes it to Les Bleus senior side.
