http://www.orlandocitysc.com/post/2...-all-three-matches-2015-generation-adidas-cup I have been fortunate enough to both work with some of these boys at the ODP level, paticularly your U13/14 side, as well as coach against them in the past. If they continue to develop, OCSC is in very good shape going forward.
I agree! My son's team will play OCYS Purple 1 in the U12 Regional semi-final in mid March. OCYS Purple 1 is currently ranked #1 in the state! We hope to give them a good game, but from what I've seen of OCYS, they are in a class by themselves!
Any HS players that OCSC have in their academy teams that we should be on the look out for? Are they planning a residency academy any time soon?
As with most MLS outfits, the publicly stated ambition is to have a residency academy generally within 5 years. OCSC may be ahead of that curve though. As for your first question, as a rule I am generally loath to project (simply because so many "can't miss" kids do just that) but their is one young man who may not be around long enough to even play for the senior side. He is that good. Lastly I am uncertain as to the OCSC stance on the "DA no HS reccomendation".
