Kazakhstan plays in UEFA... it's actually not that crazy come to think of it. They are the financial powerhouse of Central Asia and the government throws a lot of money onto sports there. Andrei Arshaven plays there, as do quite a few rogues ones... I could see somebody like Adu getting a paycheck there.
My question is if he's playing anywhere right now? The local park even, cause if you're just sitting around, especially as a "pro", like me coming home from work. You're way behind now.

My guess is he will be living in his car soon, if he isn't already. He doesn't come across as someone who thinks about investing for the future.
My guess is he is good financially. I've never seen a story about him in a casino. That's where a lot of athletes wind up getting broke. Also, no rumors of substance abuse. If he was feeling financial pressure he would be trying to ply his trade somewhere, India, Asia.. Basically, I think he's done. And has enough money not to care that much.

If he has one vice that I could see him pissing away money on, it's women. Hard to imagine him blowing the millions of dollars he's made in his career on women, though.
