For each of the six days with UEFA games, Fox Sports 2 will have a 1 hour highlight show the same day unless specified otherwise:

    Thursday's games: Friday at 12:00 A.M.
Friday's games: 8:30 P.M. (50 minutes with coverage of Mexico vs. Panama starting at 9:20 P.M.)
    Saturday's games: 11:00 P.M.
    Sunday's games: 11:00 P.M.
    Monday's games: 10:30 P.M.
    Tuesday's games: 10:00 P.M.

Thanks. Unfortunately I have to follow EL this year. :( First time in 20 years, as I'm all too aware of.

On top of that my FS2 is in SD-only, for some stupid reason. Does the EL highlights show never appear on FS1, which is HD for me.

The FoxSportsGo site has FS2 in HD, if the game is available, you can watch it there.

Duh! I guess I latched onto the highlight show reference and immediately assumed it was about Europa League. If only I had slowed down wnough and read your post more carefully I would've seen that you listed games on days of the week that EL does not play. Sorry.

The Fox Sports Go website and app gives you all content on all fox channels you get in HD. SD isn't even an option on FSGO.

I know that CONMEBOL leadership has the planning skills of three-year-olds but I'm sure they listed their kick-off times accurately. And yet, I set my DVR to start 10 minutes before the start time for Independiente-Tucuman and still miss the first 2 minutes of the game. What is Fox Deportes doing? They schedule a pre-game when they could just start the actual broadcast to start when the pre-game is supposed to run. And everyone who watches Fox Deportes knows by now that the CL re-runs will run long, making the Sudamericana pre-game time slot even more useless. If they would have eliminated the pre-game slot then their broadcast start time would have allowed for a 15-minute+ pre-game.

I'd set the DVR to start recording 1 day before and stop 1 day after just to be on the safe side.

Haha. That's about what you need with Fox Deportes. Today I set the pre-game to start 10 minutes early and to run late enough to cover the first half and Fox did it again; the Barcelona-Santos game started 13 minutes before their on-screen guide time. I was covered. But maybe 24 hour windows will be needed in the future.

I heard that FOX is considering 6 second advertisements during their World cup broadcast (Split screen).

I would not mind it so much as long as they are done during dead ball situations or periods of boredom. Maybe when a player is rolling around on the floor or a Keeper is taking his time after a ball was kicked to the moon. Also, maybe they can do what they do in the NFL and sponsor the Video Replay reviews done by VAR.

We have seen ads done in Spanish language soccer channels already during domestic matches and friendlies (TV Colombia RCN does it all the time). They might as well do it too.

    Just need FIFA approval.
