Watching the US v. Thailand match. THIS is what you do to teams way below you. Are you watching, Paunovic?
Mihailovic assist 80th minute to Boyd. 4-0. Excellent movement and passing. Almost another assist in the 90th to Zardes. I guess the kid can play when not surrounded by dead wood in Cincinnati? EDIT: 4-0 final.
didn't see his supposed disaster a couple weeks back, but Djordje looked confident out there in limited action
I don't recall Mihailovic sucking at all, just the entire team was uninspired in St Louis (sorry I said Cincinnati which is confusing only both Cincinnati and St Louis are both suburbs of Detroit). That's what I meant even if I didn't remotely say that. St. Louis = Open Cup loss Cincinnati = last Open Cup loss
My prediction that isn't popular on the MNT boards is that Djordje will have a better career than most of the u-20 WC guys not named Pomykal or Weah. Unfortunately I don't mean that as a complement to Djordje.
Sure looked like a case of "I want to do something with my arms" from the linesperson. Soccer should have like 3 linesmen and 2 of them need to put up the flag for it to be offsides.
That was the most perfect example of killing off the last 5 minutes of injury time. If I ever coach, I'm going to show that end of the game.
My partner and I would both marry Megan Rapinoe...although I would have to sleep in the spare room, I guess. Hell of a soccer player, my favorite American player since she was with the Red Stars.
USWNT v. England was a GREAT match! Full of drama and controversy. Very entertaining if anyone wants to catch that on replay. Brasil v. Argentina now on ESPN+ and also 44.1 Rabbit ears.
Disappointing third place game in the Woman's World Cup today. Tonight, it is UFC 239, flipping back and forth with the Fire game.
