You know what was weird? The US scoring five goals from the run of play and not relying on set pieces. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Dempsey's free kick was sick.
I watched the first half, bit had to sleep. The US looked organized and hungry, something I have not seen from them in a long time.

As good as the first half of the US - Honduras game was, that first 15 minutes of the second half was so much better. Pulisic is the real deal. Dempsey looked really good. Bradley was good. Injuries were a major issue, hope all is well.
A large fanbase excited for their team, a few young Latin American stars as DPs, A manager who has Argentina and Barcelona on his Resume. They should be exciting to watch.
Hey maybe the Fire can bring this keeper in? Holy SH*T!!!! http://the18.com/soccer-news/puebla...ocial&utm_source=facebook&utm_content=article
That was bad from the Puebla keeper, but that own goal from NASL Minnesota a couple years ago was the worst thing I've ever seen from a goalkeeper. How to you face your teammates after that?
I don't recall that one. Do you have a link? EDIT: Forget it.. I see it below. I swear I did NOT see that on my phone earlier when I looked. It was jumping all around and sending me to other links. Doing laptop stuff on a phone is the worst!
Well @loonixxx I'm currently at O'Hare waiting on a delayed flight to go on a hiking trip across several thousand year old salt trade routes in North Western Italy but if all goes well.... I should be knocking one off the bucket list and seeing Roma/Lazio live and in person.
Made it to Roma. Game in less than 24 hours. This is the first game back after a year without Roma supporters who were protesting security measures: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/ap...tay-away-derby-protest-security-barriers.html
Getting ready for the biggest event at Wembly in years...Joshua v. Klitschko. Klitschko coming out looking very determined. Joshua ready to make his entrance.
Oh, brother. Joshua is standing on one of three platforms, with his initials lit up in flames on the other two. The platforms are elevated about 20 feet up as he stands there and poses. I really like Anthony Joshua and he could be THE star for the next decade or more. He looks a little too relaxed out there.
