Considering that Curtin was apparently the guy responsible for running the practices (and we all saw how much the Union improved) I honestly, can say I'm not thrilled with him getting even the "interim" tag.

 

Let's see his lineups and subs. What if he calls back McLaughlin and Ribeiro and plays them?

 

This is exactly the thread I expected to see when I came here today.

 

Again, no expectations other than Curtin knows what time the bus is leaving and to bring 18 players to the match.

 

You have to have faith that they will actually search for a manager after what happened just blindly giving the gig to hack. So I'm not going to bag on the guy, he is in a shitty situation….I just hope like others have said that he plays the kids so we can see what we have in them.

 

At 34, he practically is youth.

 

Curtain ran the youth academy prior to coming over to the senior team staff in January. He also WANTED to play for the Union in 2010, but Nowak apparently was not interested. So he is not really part of the Nowak/Hackworth regime. He is also from the Philly area, so he will at the least give his all to win.

A bit surprised that Sorber didn't get the interim gig. Damn, really wish Brendan Burke was still with the organization......

 

Of the entire staff, I like Curtin the most. He had success with our academy in the past.

I wish they would've just sacked the whole coaching staff and made Albright interim....either way this seems like the FO admitting the seasons over!

 

can't they just cancel the season and start fresh next year?

The other teams need the points to complete their collection - oh wait, I mean season.

 

I'd half like to see the interim tag removed just to sit back and watch the riot that would ensue. The season is basically over, so I need something to entertain me.

 

Oh yeah.....by the way, who the f*** is Jim Curtin?
