It's 4-3 for Twente, that indicates that they are át móst slightly better.

You might be correct, but use sources! These comments make people angry if you don't back them up with sources, and you would do the same if they tell things about your club you think aren't true.

    PSV!! :D

I want to be in Twente's or Ajax shoes.

I'm gonna watch both Ajax-Twente and PSV with Sopcast, gonna place both streams next to each other without border and I'll use the sound of the Ajax - Twente match. I'll capture my screen with a Screen Capture plugin, I'm gonna stream it to my Multi Media Device and I'll play it at my TV.

    Split-Screen Ajax-Twente and PSV :D

    Awesome. :)

This is one of those few moments when I'm very nervous about a game. Reminds me of the infamous 2004/2005 last round. Lets hope it ends better this time.

  5. quote orange14:Both have been quoted saying Ajax will win on Sunday.

Ronald de Boer said that Twente is the better team and he expects them to win, though he hopes Ajax will win the title. Obviously:)

should be a piece of cake
if F de Boer plays like this.

[LINEUP-4-4-2]Cvitanich, De Jong, Suljemani, Enoh, De Zeeuw, Ebicilio, Boilesen/Blind, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Van Der Wiel[/LINEUP-4-4-2]

With Enoh and De Zeeuw slightly more to the back and Ebecilio and Sulejmani slightly more to the wings.

Explanation: Douglas can play very good against physical strong players, but is nowhere against small fast players. We saw it in the cupfinal when Cvitanich came in, causing a lot of trouble. Wonder what happened if he was a starter that match. We also saw it against Villareal, with the quick and agile Rossi. It's not for nothing that Douglas was picked up in the 3th or 4th Brazilian league, because he wasn't able to cope with the technical Brazilian attackers.
And slow Wisgerhof doesn't dare to play one on one, so he or Douglas will come less to the attack or help the midfield when there are two central attackers. The midfield is where Twente had an advantage last time. With Ebicilio and Sulejmani as false wingers, they are also supporting the midfield.

Well deserved team victory today. The prediction that Pieter Vink would make a terrible call proved true by not giving de Jong a deserved penalty when he was taken down by Mihyalov. Fortunately, it did not impact the outcome of the match. Unfortunate own goal by Landzaat but Twente came back quickly when Ajax had the one moment falling asleep on defense. Twente played well but really never were able to generate much danger on offense aside from a couple of shots by Ruiz that were well saved by Vermeer and the height of the Twente team were never a factor as many of the free kicks were taken short and the corners well defended.

Good offense generated by Ajax and Siem de Jong had two well taken goals. The third star goes on the shirt for next season and Twente get the consolation of CL football qualifying as PSV cannot defeat Groningen.

And of course Orange14 deserves his credit for persisting all season that it would come down to the final matchday when most of us thought we were screwed.

The league has become so much more competitive over the past five years. I don't think we are ever going to see a team run away with things out of the starting gate; too much quality up and down the table. It makes for good football and discussion throughout the season. I expect much of the same next season!!!

Congratulations to Ajax on winning the league, it was well deserved today.

Which is also why I'm not too disappointed. We finished in the top two for the third time in a row and won two prizes this season, plenty to be proud of. Thousands of people are still partying in Enschede and all festivities are still on.

Twente still has done really well. JC Schaal, KNVB beker, chance to play in the Champions League. We'll see what happens this summer, might see a mass exodus at both clubs. Stekelenburg, van der Wiel, Vertonghen at Ajax. Douglas, Ruiz, Janssen at Twente. Can next year be even more competitive?

Someone start a transfer rumour thread now!

Can I just say that I'm also very proud of twente fans today. 50,000 people in the city centre (they closed it off at one point!) yet there was not a single problem or disturbance after we lost. And I'm also very proud of how our players reacted after the game. I bloody love this club, win or lose!

I take back my words. It wasn't the luckiest team that won. Ajax downright DOMINATED. Awesome game!! A victory for football. It reminded me of Barça vs Mourinho.
