Might be common knowledge but it is nice indeed to finally hear someone who was at the club say it publicly. The other ex players, for instance, with all of their criticism over the years, always stopped short of telling the actual truth and where the real problem lies, choosing to put all the blame squarely on the managers and such (not that they were blameless either but we know it's not all on them). The source also lends credence to those comments as well. Herrera is a pretty real guy and his love for the club is not in doubt either.
Interesting channel too, is a UK sports university with links to the LMA - so has some interesting interviews given the student audience, which seems to make the interviews a bit less guarded and has a different slant. Hate to say it but the Gerrard interview is interesting and impressive (especially his comments about recruitment), though he does have to qualify his achievements by saying he achieved the "majority" of what he set out to do
Sarri substitutes Ronaldo for the 2nd time and he marches past him straight down the tunnel. Won’t end well, I suspect. Got to say, he’s a ballsy bugger is Sarri.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) November 10, 2019

Very late to the Keane/Viera debate. I can't believe United fans of all people have underestimated Keane so grossly. Viera was a helluva player, but he wasn't on Keane's level. So I'm not sure how he'd play in today's prem, but Keane was absolutely dominant in his time and it wasn't simply barking orders. He dominated the ball, both sides of it. There's never been a more complete midfielder. He won aerial battles, he could tackle, he could run all day. He knew where to be to stop a counter attack or stop the team from playing out. He was a masterful passer. His passing gets underrated criminally. He routinely had most passes in the league over the course of the season (I'd have to check, but I think he probably completed most passes like 5 out of 6 years in one stretch). There were things he couldn't do. He wouldn't beat a man. But he would beat that man to the spot. He couldn't hit a shot from 30 yards and score, so when he shot, it was from close and most often on target. If there's ever been someone as in tune with his own abilities as Keane I'd be surprised. He never failed because his ambition outstretched his skill. That's saying something because he wanted to win so badly. And then there was his leadership. I'd take Keane over Viera forever.
The guy certainly had a flair for the spectacular. Shame about the injuries he's suffered just when he was hitting his stride at United. Still wonder how truly good he could have been with us, with perhaps just a little more luck on that front.

Super random. Yesterday I woke up and saw my dog and I were randomly featured on I Love This Game's IG page. I was so stoked when I saw Pat commented on it haha

Ole and United need to show progress - Scholes https://www.skysports.com/football/...cept-manchester-united-form-says-paul-scholes Don't always agree with Scholes's takes, but am in complete agreement with him here. It's all well and good to have some kind of long term plan which includes Ole in it. But it's equally important for him in order to earn some trust and patience to demonstrate some type of progress on the field, in terms of our results. And that is what is missing currently, as evidenced by the fact that he hasn't even won 1 game out of 3 since March, coupled with the fact that we don't have a set template on how we want to play either.
