Will always love that guy! More gold from Berba 😅Dimitar candidly recalls how he felt before making his #MUFC debut v Liverpool, which included a pre-match meeting with @SirBobby 🤝🎙️ You can enjoy more of this in our new podcast — coming soon... pic.twitter.com/bDQaWXe4FP— Manchester United (@ManUtd) October 19, 2019
had a debate yesterday - who's better: Keane or Vieira. said i'd take Keane all day but was told it was United bias. was also told Vieira was the better goal scorer, would bully Keane (what??) and won the World Cup (lol) mind you this is Arsenal fans so i didn't go much further after pointing out the same bias argument can be made for them. who do you folks think is better? i know it's been a while since both played but is it United bias? Arsenal bias? i just never thought Vieira was that impressive
Viera was the better footballer but Keane was a winner and a leader. Depends on what the team needed. In a team already full of talent, give me Keane all day long. In a lesser squad, probably Viera.
Nicky Butt calls for patience. https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/...ungsters-look-to-make-the-grade-38619668.html
Many people understate Keane as "player" just because he was great leader and fighter on and off the pitch. Viera was more technical player but i would slap anyones teeth off who claims Viera bullied Keane.. I would have keane over Viera in current united squad to straighten up lot of pussies.
Easier choice than most United would believe it to be, in my estimation: Vieira all day. The guy was levels in terms of football ability.
Keano FTW. Keane would make most of the current squad quit as footballers. His drive made everyone work their butts off and made them better. Love Keano, despite the bitterness at Fergie.
I think you're all delusional if you think a guy like Keane would work in modern day teams of super stars.
Don't think that anyone is denying Keane's qualities both as a football player and especially as a leader (although that model is outdated in today's team sports environment). But let's not make it look either like he was in a football team full of bums at United either. There were moments, like the 99 CL semi final in Turin, where he rose up and put the team on his back. But Becks had moments like that, so did Scholes and others on those teams, at various times during that teams' run.
Who claimed he was in the team with bums? I’ve addressed this in the past but I’ll do it again. Keano’s drive and leadership style made all those guys that much better. He never let anyone off the hook for anything, in footballing terms. Those guys are the first to say how much of a difference it made having that guy in your head all the time. I think some are oft dismissive on how massive of an influence Keano had on the successes of those class of 92 lads.
Didn't say that anyone claimed anything, it's just fact that he played in a team full of talent in almost every single position. As previously stated, Keane's leadership qualities were a big part of what made him the player he was and a contributing factor to United's success at the time. But as much as he might have had a part in making some of his United teammates better, their own quality contributed also in making him as good as he was also. Don't think that can be denied either.
One of the greatest headers and the most underrated assist of all time. 🙌Cristiano was not even in the box when Scholes floats the ball. Cristiano's aerial hang time is absolutely unreal. pic.twitter.com/DKCd6yHk0P— Man Utd Channel (@ManUtdChannel) October 23, 2019
https://www.espn.com/soccer/manches...in-talks-over-manchester-united-coaching-role Would absolutely love it if Pat was given some type of role in the youth setup. He's got a lot to give and he needs to be kept in house for as long as possible.

I think it's a pity that there was no audio on this. Willing to bet it's probably more hilarious than the gesture itself, particularly with his accent.
