Van Gaal is still sore over the nature of his United exit. www.skysports.com/football/news/11667/11083259/louis-van-gaal-criticises-nature-of-his-man-utd-exit-and-jose-mourinho8217s-appointment I completely get how he feels, but it ultimately was necessary and for the best.
What he's quoted as saying isn't all that bad, but he's got nothing to complain about whatsoever. The squad's performances were regressing and for long stretches we were completely unwatchable. Another season of Van Gaal would have been disastrous for the club.
Fantastic documentary on Best playing on MUFC right now. Brings back memories of the first time I saw footage of this guy from Manchester United Football Club.
On the LVG thing, to quote Cocktail “Jesus, everything ends badly otherwise it wouldn’t end”. Club had to move on and they did.

United finally look like title contenders for the first time since SAF left - Gary Neville. www.espnfc.us/manchester-united/story/3235761/manchester-united-title-contenders-for-first-time-in-four-years-gary-neville
Gary Neville claims he'll never manage again. www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11093302/gary-neville-says-he-will-never-manage-again-after-valencia-and-england-roles It's a pity in a way, that his managing experiences have turned him off the job. Still have a feeling that he could be successful in some type of executive role for a club, if given the opportunity. The guy is obviously a very good and interesting football mind, going by the way he speaks in his commentary role.

Giggs puts himself in the running for the Leicester and Everton jobs. www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11095502/ryan-giggs-interested-in-everton-and-leicester-managerial-vacancies This is starting to look like some kind of (running) joke at this point. Can't really see this in a different manner (until it actually happens)...
Reread the article....he didn't exactly throw his hat in the ring for either job. Just essentially said that is the type of role he would be interested in.
Bottom line, I don't really buy the fact that he could not find a single club, during the whole time he's been unemployed, in all of the Football League, which "matches his ambitions". Would love to see him manage somewhere, but until I actually see it happen, I'll consider it a joke as mentioned, for all intents and purposes. It's not the first time he's mentioned something of the sort...
