I wonder what Fletcher's signing will mean to Geoff Cameron's role at Stoke. Will Darren be back-up for him and Whelan?

A wonderful story on Park Ji-sung and Patrice Evra’s friendship - told by Park’s father. Well worth a read. 🇫🇷🇰🇷 pic.twitter.com/xvFnf6kkls— Football Tweet ⚽ (@Football__Tweet) June 13, 2017

Thanks[emoji4] . And even after all these years the camaraderie, aura and talent in that room still gives me goosebumps!. Wish I could just go back in time just to see them play again. [emoji8]
That site has been a pretty cool find. Enjoyed a couple of other stories already, with apparently quite a few more in store. For stuff like that, that you have to love the internet.. @Futbol_Head , you mentioned a few times your love for Berba, there is a good piece about him in the profile section...
Fantastic read on Fergie, @Ashur . I will check out the one on Berba later. "After Cunningham rejected his transfer request, Ferguson hit a rich vein of vorm that saw him move to boyhood club Rangers. Jock Stein had led Celtic to two straight titles, so Rangers were under scrutiny, but that season they went so close to winning it that Stein waved the white flag. Yet Stein knew what he was doing. His remark heaped further pressure on Rangers, who lost their nerve and let Celtic sneak past. After the collapse, irate fans encircled the Rangers dressing room, broke the windows and kept the players locked in for hours. As Ferguson escaped into a waiting car, a fan kicked him on the calf. A managerial lesson had been learned. “I shall never forget those headlines Jock instigated,” Ferguson wrote. “The trick was instantly lodged in my memory.” Classic Fergie.
The articles/stories from this guy are pretty much one gem after another. Some great, great stuff there...
Anymore such sites with fergie or united stories?. The only one i have read on united is : https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6838653-manchester-united
Andy Cole may not be held in as high regard as other famous United strikers, but he was awesome in his time with the club nonetheless and has got the numbers to back it up... www.thesefootballtimes.co/2017/06/21/andrew-cole-the-defining-manchester-united-years/
In another thread I was going to make a joke about how long until we hear Macheda is plying his trade in the NASL, and then saw that he made 21 appearances for Serie B side Novara last season. Scored 7 goals. Sincerely hope he can get his career back on track.
Bebatov's ability on the ball was second to none in the years I've watched United, but far too often he couldn't be bothered with putting in the effort of a champion. Class isn't always enough.

Love it. Not everyone has management/coaching in them. Glad to see he'll remain in the game and hopefully help to further develop footy in Asia.
