I just want this season to end, that's when the real action will begin. Unfortunately we have to play a few games before that happens. When: Saturday, 7:30 Where: Under a bridge How: ESPN+, Flo
This is the best way to approach the match. I am cautiously optimistic only because I was impressed by Kamara and by Arriola (again), and thought Acosta played his best match in months when he came on. A revitalized Acosta playing behind a genuine striker (Kamara), with Energizer Bunny Arriola buzzing around could create chances. Rodriguez has been inconsistent, but if he has a good match or if Segura comes in and plays his best we could snatch a point - or three.
Not expecting much from that game. My observation is that the team’s training leaves a lot to be desired and it affects the way they play. Passes lack pace and accuracy. Slow to shift point of attack allowing defense to recover. Etc. I suspect that’s the way they practice. Train the way you want to play and we’re just too slow right now.
Agree with you guys. Hoping to see Acosta at the 10 spot with Kamara up top. Arriola has logged some serious minutes, but hopefully he can start. We need Acota, Arriola and Kamara to develop some chemistry, stat. Titi as also put in a lot of minutes and has not impressed. If we are forced to defend a lot, I would be interested to see Boateng out wide for speed on the counter at some point during the game. If we are to have any chance of getting in to the playoffs, we need to steal some road points. Hopefully, it starts today.
Let me clarify. Titi has had positive moments and I like him, but there was talk of him being the Acosta replacement. So, I set the bar relatively high for him. He has not been a consistent performer and disappears for long stretches during games. He may need some rest.
I, too, would like to see Boateng, but I've warmed to Segura - at least as a second half sub -- oh, right, Ben doesn't sub. But yes, Titi disappears at times.

As noted on the Philly broadcast, Acosta ZERO assists in 22 games. But hey, yeah, let’s not criticize his fragile ego.
Olsen should not be allowed to finish the season. Every match is laughably unfocused and undisciplined.
