Me too. My second-round win was probably the biggest win in club history. I lost one starter to injury in the first half, lost another to a red card early in the second, and got the golden goal in extra time to win it. I was Fired. Up. Alas, I think I'm going to have to PIC against the third-round opponent, a D.IV team that seems to be much better than me.
Its my second foray into the 3rd round. Got a new hatstat high of 191 in my 2nd round win. I match up against a DIV guy who will crush my midfield.
I've only missed the third round once in the entire time I've played... The past 3-4 seasons I don't think I've not made round 5 at least.
I should be (knock on wood) making it to the 4th rd this season. My next Cup opponent just got a new owner on 6/30/08.
Considering my next league game is in essence a walkover, I think I'm going to be ok to make it to round 5.
Got my first match against a ML team. I take on Pink Panthers EFC. Looks to be the end of my cup run, but then again I thought that the past two weeks.
Pulled out a PK win on the road. Pretty lucky, hadn't set my PK takers either. Got about $4m in the bank, backups I could sell, and a team that, as it is, should be nearing 300 hats at home. Time for an extended run!
Brays to round 6 after KFTM. I think that's only something like our second shootout, I know we've lost one before.
Well I think I'm going out. Got a red card in the 20th minute, over the next 7 minutes I gave up 3 goals, two from the side the guy was on.
