Interesting note: Juve have ONLY won the champions league final against teams defending their title. They beat defending champs Liverpool in 85 and defending champs Ajax in 96.

What a beast, and he doesn't look tired either thanks to Zidane's rotation. Hopefully he'll be at his best for the Confed cup

Zidane knows how to groom a beast. It works hand in hand with our national team, we no longer have to worry about Ronaldo being gassed and injured by the time he joins us.

We're also going to win the trophy the represents the hardest tournament to qualify for.

    Portugal 2017 Confederations Cup Champions.

This felt like an early 90s WCW Sting entrance at a Starcade event.

The internet is so quiet. Not a peep from twitter, facebook.....Youtube comments... It's all just gone.

Amazing what winning does to your haters through psychology.

They can't say their usual choice of words like Penaldo, tapinaldo, divenaldo, etc.. They also can't say he only scores vs minnows, can't score on top goalies and doesn't perform in big games.

Numbers and facts usually shut people up.

Since my post got deleted, just wanted to chime in. It's been relatively clear that Ronaldo's peak physical conditioning will have him last much longer than Messi, thus, becoming a much more successful player later in his career than Messi can ever be. I imagine WC 2018 is the only thing on Ronaldo's mind now.

Ronaldo knows how to create space off the ball better than anybody. His finishing and his desire to win is second to none. While he's lost a step, his mind and game vision has gotten even better. The world cup is definitely on his mind, but so is the Confed Cup or he wouldn't be going.

Tbh I'd rather he rest this summer but he'll go win another tourney.

Infantino played a huge part in making this happen. He's a well known CR7 > Messi guy.

Pre-Infantino, FIFA have been ducking CR7 for far too long trying to weather off his storm.

Hurricane CR7 is still here, and it seems like it's peaking the more it ages.

    Cr7 kept
    Working hard to adapt

Crazy in 2012 Messi had 4 ballons and Ronaldo 1, now it is 5-4 and good to be 5-5

Messi is slightly younger , he has time on his side but I'm not sure he will adapt as well as ronaldo has to his 30s
