little amendmend to the previous post: on 20th August the match will be in Poland ! (sorry, my mistake) Here's a clip about a current form of Lech Poznan http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIIV...kul.asp?Artykul=55219&feature=player_embedded Lech plays in blue shirts ... to be more precised
Good result for Brugge but I'd like to see them at the top of the league not only in october like previous years but also in may. Anderlecht and Standard still are the better teams but injuries (Anderlecht) and motivational problems (Standard) can keep Brugge in the titlerace untill the end of the season...
If Anderlecht is really that much better than us, then I'd like to see 'em prove it. They haven't exactly put the world on fire, either in Europe or in the league.
2-0 against Partizan Belgrade. Good result and more than decent performance. Should have scored a few more goals, but I'm not complaining.
Ivan Perisic was a steal for you guys..2 more goals for the young croat.. too bad he missed the penalty..
I went to the game and saw his mother and sister! My wife even had a short chat with 'em, even though we hadn't a clue at the time they were related to Ivan.
Hey Belgian Guy, just out of curiosity, what's the word on Jared Jeffrey? Any hope for this season, or is he going to be in the reserves for a while?
If you guys don't mind me asking, who would you say is your best player? I'm watching Kortrijk-Brugge right now, and I would say the man of the match so far is your attacking midfielder Nabil Dirar. I would also mention your #40 forward and Perisic.
I d say thats about right. Together with Vadis Odidja they have the most potential of anyone at Brugge.
Thanks for your answer. Were there some notable players that didn't play because of injury or something, or did Brugge more or less have all of their first team available?
Antonin Alcaraz from Paraguay, the best defender of the team didnt play. I believe he scored for Brugge against Valencia in Uefa Cup 2 yrs ago Further more Wesley Sonck sat on the bench
Hi, I was hoping I could get some advice form a Club Brugge fan. Two other friends and I really want to attend a match and we will be in town for the game against Anderlecht. I understand this is a pretty big rivalry game and tickets are available through sport.be.msn and the section I am looking at is 111 (southwest corner). Friends I am with have never attended European football match so I don't want to put them in the middle of any very intense supporters haha. Would southwest corner be recommended (Btw, everyone that will be attending is mid 20s in age, so we can handle standing and supporting the 90+, haha)? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated and can't wait to see Club Brugge next month! -Aaron
Hi Aaron, Sorry for the late reply (only joined this forum recently), but you should be good in section 111. I believe the 'harder' Bruges fans are on the South Terrace, so any of the sections along the sidelines will be fine. Visitors will be sat in the northwestern corner. It is a highprofile match indeed, but it shouldn't be a problem. I ve been there myself last year in the visitors corner, but the stadium was half empty back then since Bruggefans don't care about cupmatche against lower league teams. PS: On the site of Club brugge they have options to get tickets too, prolly wiser to use the ticketbuying link provided by the club. Enjoy
It was indeed a great experience. Sitting at the corner flag we got absolutely drenched but was still great fun. The missed penalty after the keeper was sent off was intense as everyone went nuts and so funny to see the anderlect fans completely shut up instantly. Unfortunate about result though. Afterwards I had to immediately pick up a few club Brugge shirts. I definetly hope to attend future games at Jan Breydel
Jawohl, march 8; Hannover 96 - Club Brugge march 15; Club Brugge - Hannover 96 Christoph ist zufrieden
