    Bingo...he could hardly have done worse than the bunch of 'stiffs' Jurgan had playing 'forward' in this game....Cooper has scored against the 'minnows of concacaf'....this lot didn't come close....

    I agree that Cooper probably wouldnt have done any worse than Wondolowski. Cooper's another interesting player. He's learning to be a target more and more, but he still likes to work of the forward who brings what is needed tactically. He worked really well off of Ching holding up the ball at the 2009 Gold Cup, but also liked being behind Dominic Oduro, whose pace would push defenses deeper and created space for Cooper to work in between lines. I don't really see a place for him in the side, but I feel like he would have been more dangerous than Wondo.
