Massive Cooper fan, love his game. Definitely not a bad pick, although Vic Beasley would likely be ideal IMO.
I don't necessarily disagree, and it would fill a need. However, when you are a team like the Skins, you need to go BPA. We won't compete this year. DJax and Garçon are up in two years and I doubt we retain both. Cooper is a guy we will have beyond those two years and he is as NFL ready as you can be for a college WR.
At 5? Not with the added risk. The hard part is gauging where he would go. I'm all for trading down and grabbing him in the mid-late first round.
I don't really watch much college ball outside a bit of FSU, mostly I just listen to a lot of different sources that do and then make my own conclusions. Gregory seems to me like a "look like Tarzan, play like Jane" prospect, great measurables, athletic, etc. but really needs a crap-ton of coaching up. And his marijuana flag, although not a serious red flag, this late in the process, shows a lack of self-control that scares me.
Bud Dupre, Vic Beasley, Randy Gregory, Shane Ray, Nate Orchard, etc. I can't really knock any of them lol. Much better class than the usual tbh.
