Here's an idea which might go over fairly well. If you get the "You need to rep someone else before you rep this guy again" message, why not be able to pay a very small fee, say 10 or 25 cents per message, to overcome it? Then again, would it be worth it with the various online transaction fees that may or may not be involved? And another idea: If a thread is locked, we lose the quote and quick reply links, but the yellow "new reply" box is still clickable? I know we get the "this thread is closed" message, but why not just take that box away as well?
speaking of money. if you check out www.genmay.net you can see a forum that has a money system/donations. Where you can buy a stickie, buy to change someones Av, buy to change someone's username all for a limited period, say 1 month. and more stuff. even buy to have your own forum, like 500 bucks or something like that. that would make money
Is there a way to get the left side nav bar on the My BigSoccer page? Can we move the My BigSoccer menu to the right side?
Three to the right of the picture button- two to the right of the quote button its got this pic......
Seeing that I do this for free, if anyone is interested in corrupting me, please PM me. Also, did someone change the name of this thread from "Ways to make BigSoccer better" to "Please, tell BigSoccer what happened to you and let us know that you're still pissed about it"?
I wouldn't give him much thought, if you notice my sig line you will understand the value of his posts. I also think that the idea of being able to see past reps would be cool. How about allowing users to customize the CP to suit our tastes? Allow us to move the page around to whatever we like?
Competition. BigSoccer members talk a big game but there's no way to prove it. A direct link into a soccer fantasy game, or hosting it onsite would be fun. For example, I enjoy my Guardian EPL fantasy league, but I can only lord my success over 15 people instead of the BigSoccer community. I have to believe a fantasy league partner would very much enjoy the traffic BigSoccer generates.
