I kind of like the name borough boys sounds like a youth gang. When I was a little kid I was in the HBB Harlem Ball Busters. Then later they wanted me in another gang Red Wings they got the name from the Red Wing block in Italian Harlem. I never joined that one because I did not want to be a follower. Caught a beating for that. But I lived through it. Then a kid I knew saw a movie called The Purple Gang about kids from Detroit who joined a adult gang of bootleggers. Then he says he wanted to start another gang The New York Purple Gang. I did not join that either because I thought he was full of it. He actually did it he died in his 60s got shot in the Bronx going to Rao's in Harlem to meet us for Dinner. My other friend ask me if I was going to his funeral. I told him are you kidding me I might not go your funeral. Took him a year to get over what I said. But Bourgh boys I dig that. Is Gio Saverese an honorary Borough boy?
