I wouldn't go if I was offered a free, all-expense-paid trip. Why would anyone go to this crap? Round-trip flight to BCN + a Juve v Barca ticket costs about $500 total. Same ballpark as mediocre seats to watch Barca "B" in MIA. I'll never understand people...
Hope Lucho watched Leicester, they pulled of their own CL miracle, were probably drained too but fielded 10 out of the 11 who started midweek (except for Wes) and best West Ham away 3-2. [emoji19]
Yeah, maybe not. When I heard "July friendly" it sounded really early but now that I look more closely its only 3 weeks before La Liga starts. So most players should be well in-to their preseason by then. Except maybe .... CR7 (due to the Confederations' Cup which runs to early-July). It would be funny if CR7 doesn't play at all. Because I'm sure a lot of the types that would pay $350 for a preseason friendly are doing it primarily to see CR7 v Messi.
Both these are worth a read: Guillem Balague & Graham Hunter entertain questions about Barca, Lucho, Messi's future, some of the questions seemingly could have been written by our own Lucho haters: http://www.skysports.com/football/n...m-balague-and-graham-hunter-debate-on-revista Marca talks about Lucho's evolving tactics esp. the 3-4-3 http://www.marca.com/en/football/barcelona/2017/03/21/58d18e08268e3ea9258b457a.html
I've been to 2 Barca pre season games in the US. One was Ronaldinho's first game, and the other vs Chelsea after the last trebble. They were ok. If I was in Miami I'd consider going. But not at high prices. I've enjoyed NT friendlies more. I've caught Brazil a few times in the US.
In 2009 I thoroughly enjoyed watching Barca hold a public practice at Kezar stadium with my daughter (long line to get in, and small fee) and then watching them play Chivas at the old Candlestick Park (the start of Zlatan's one season here but he had an injury). Tix were maybe $60-80 pretty high up. Most but not all of the first team played part of the match. Then Barca came back to play ManU at the new Levi's stadium in 2015 and tix were $175 and way up, traffic and parking and public transit all a nightmare. Skipped that one. Most of the first team started but no Messi, Neymar, Bravo, Alves, Mascherano due to Copa America tournament in South America that summer (Uruguay was in Copa but Luis Suarez was suspended so he was with Barca at this preseason match). No regrets on skipping that one.
To be honest, the highlight of the 2nd game I watched was seeing all 3 trophies up close. They had it outside the stadium. Pretty cool. I got some terrible seats at the Redskins stadium. They have a covered section with freaking pillars. Stupidest thing I've ever seen. Most fun was Brazil x Mexico way back in 97. Ronaldo and Romario and company. That was sick. 4 x 0.
^^^ Looks good, but then I'm not fussy about the design. My class alumni is now the president of Rakuten USA, I'm hoping he can get me signed MSN jersey.
Bartomeu and Pochettino met in a central Barcelona restaurant http://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/cumbre-bartomeu-pochettino-barcelona-5923017
No wonder you're from hell! Just kidding, never liked Duke athletics, but it's a great school and I did apply to law school there myself many years ago. Did not see that in Yaz Iida's bio on linkedin which is where I saw the schools I mentioned.
I think there are few presidents for USA Rakuten? I sent you his name on PM. Duke lost to South Carolina so can't brag about them this season. lol
April is make-or-break month to say the least. Nine matches incl LPB, Juve (2), Sevilla and Espanyol. The date and kick-off times for the first 8 of them have been announced (attached):
This is why I love this guy! Exactly my point when all those Madridista's complaining about ref decision. Did any of you say anything about Ramos's offside goal? NO, then STFU 846962594338492421 is not a valid tweet id
It's odd that you got Messi and Suarez topping goals in La Liga with 27 & 24 goals. Messi tops CL top scorer with 11 goals yet the team is more or less out of contention for both.[emoji19]
