Unbeknownst to me, New Belgium Brewing is not available in Pennsylvania. However, while lounging in Walt Disney World last week, I grabbed a couple beers for the missus and myself while the lads splashed around in the pool. I had heard of Fat Tire, had never tried it, and am a fan of amber ales. Damn, yummy yummy in my tummy. And yes, I posted a picture of it in cans because, well, being poolside they weren't serving it in bottles. All good to me, either way. ------------ Oh, and for the GoT fans out there, Valar Morghulis has been released into the wild.
Tried some good beer over the last few weeks: Vunderbar Pilsner by Smuttynose Peeper Ale by Maine Beer Co. Opal by Firestone Walker Coffee Milk Stout by Stone The Fear by Flying Dog Pumpkin Ale by Schlafly Oktoberfest by Port City Schwartz Bier by Devils Backbone All delicious. Not so good for my wallet and stomach, though
Grabbed a variety sixpack of seasonal beers from Weis yesterday. Tried Yuengling's Oktoberfest, and although it was pretty good, it left a nasty aftertaste.
I had some yesterday. I liked it, dry and malty. Very smooth. If anyone is passing through Nashua, New Hampshire, friends just opened a craft beer store there and they are selling it.
Well, the word "nasty" aptly describes the bottle I had a couple nights ago. I think the best description I can come up with would be: "left a skunky-ish after-taste without tasting skunky."
Kind of bitter, I guess, but maybe like @Dr. Wankler said, a skunky taste might be the best description. Regular Yuengling Lager sometimes has a whiff of skunkiness to it, but it'll taste just fine. I'd say at least 1-2 per case. But this was the first time I've had some palette-aftereffects when drinking anything from them.

Yeah the Guinness Blonde is really good, I find that I enjoy it better on draft rather than bottled. I need to find me some backwoods bastard though
Had some of this a few weeks ago at the Brew Fest in Foxwoods Casino Dude only had two 4 packs and said it was a limited release this year. if you see it, BUY IT!
New Craft brewery opens sunday 2 miles from my house. This could prove to be dangerous. https://www.facebook.com/powderhollowbrewery
