Forgot to enter my weekly contribution to this thread. Last Friday's growler share consisted of Puddler's Row ESB from Conshohocken Brewery, a new joint 5 minutes from my office. It's my turn for the growler fill tomorrow. Decisions, decisions. And for the Union game this past Saturday, the wife and I split a growler of Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA. I have to admit, it was one of the best IPAs I've ever had.
Heading to Asheville, NC later this month. Going to stop at Blue Mountain Brewery in VA on the way down. Any must try brews while down there?
Coincidentally, I just read that Twin Leaf Brewery had their grand opening a couple months ago. Maybe worth checking out. http://www.twinleafbrewery.com/
On tap for this evening's office growler happy hour ... Rye of the Tiger by Great Lake Brewing Company
And the latest offering from Wachusett Brewery: Pic may be viewable from F'book only. This one is not as "interesting": I need one of those glasses. But I also need a place to hide a new glass from my wife.
I can see it: what's up with her hands? Looks like they photoshopped Ann Coulter's hands around some stripper's boobs.
Speaking of Boston... Apparently, Sam Adams is going to pull this one... According to The Onion, that is.
So it looks like I'll be visiting Blue Mountain in VA. Beyond that, I'll be heading down to Asheville and I'm hoping to check out Wicked Weed, Wedge, Highland, Green Man, Oskar Blues, and New Belgium. Looks like Sierra Nevada's Asheville brewery will not be open until August 3rd :/
You no likely my suggestion of Twin Leaf? Oskar Blues, though. Can't go wrong with that. Just had a taste of Iron Hill Brewery's Lodestone Lager. Mmm, mmm, tasty.

Great time in NC and also VA. Stopped at Blue Mountain brewery, which was one of the most picturesque places I've ever seen. Tried the Big Blue D.I.P.A which was fantastic. While in Asheville, I tried the Green Man ESB, 420 Extra Pale Ale from SweetWater Brewing Company, Shiva IPA from Asheville Brewing Company, and White Zombie Ale from Catawba Brewing company. We were able to visit Wicked Weed (thanks for the suggestions ), and tried the Heresy Brown Ale. Also stopped in Southern Appalachian Brewery and tried their Belgian Blonde Ale. All in all, an amazing trip.
